We have stayed at the Oriental, Shangri La and the Peninsula and the Siam is not just a fine hotel, it's an experience! All the rooms are suites and the bathrooms are massive. The whole place is just stunning. The hotel boat took us directly to several restaurants that were along the river. Enjoy a drink on the hotel pier...

The hotel is an oasis of peace that takes you away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok's centre. Surrounded by several royal buildings and the Grand Palace, the area around the hotel is great for exploring Bangkok's most intriguing and iconic sights. The hotel staff seem to have found the best balance of great service and discreteness I have...

Dear Deniz T Thank you for your wonderful comments about The Siam. I would agree that our unique location in the Royal district of Dusit is special. Dear Sioned T, Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your recent brief encounter at The Siam. We welcome many guests to The Siam who come to experience our wonderful Chon restaurant, featuring some of the best Thai cuisine and service in Bangkok as recognized by Thailand Tatler recently in their 2016 awards. Overall, a great place for a quiet time and overall, nice area with culture and nature. However, only one restaurant in this hotel and no doorman to greet you and assist your stroller when you come back to resort. It is difficult and often impossible to manage both business and your kid in this hotel - butler is there with...

This boutique paradise along the river in Bangkok is absolutely heaven. We arrived on December 30th to kickoff our honeymoon, stayed for 3 nights, and were treated like royalty the entire time. From our attentive "butler" Mac, to the property manager Nick, everything was perfection. Service is A++, the vibe is incredible relaxed and luxurious. The morning we left for...

Dear Jordana M, Thank you for your lovely review of your recent honeymoon experience at The Siam. We were truly delighted to welcome you over our New Year's Eve celebrations. Staying in Dusit

Neighbourhood Profile
Dusit
When wandering around the Dusit Palace grounds, you'd almost forget you're still in a Southeast-Asian city. The Renaissance-style buildings and leafy gardens wouldn't be out of place in an European capital, and the serenity here is in stark contrast with the chaotic city life outside of its complex walls. Dusit is one of Bangkok's oldest districts, and while the rest of Bangkok is modernising at a rapid pace, Dusit seems to have stood the test of time. Come here to find family businesses in traditional shophouses, small-scale local markets and streets unfazed by modern city life.
