It's been about 5 years since I've stayed here and nothing changes! Strange smell (sewers?!) in the lobby, but the nice lily pond distracts from it! Guests are always greeted well and service is fine but the rooms are all in dire need of refurbishment and modernising. A decent chair for the desk, as opposed to a stool is surely...

Pleasant experience at this hotel. I express my thanks to the breakfast crew; Fon, Pey, Am, and Benz. I will recommend this hotel to other people because of my experience with the staff of the hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel is also impressive.

After a remodel it looks very nice inside although it smells strange. The staff are reserved but helpful if you ask the right question. The rooms are large and clean with wifi. It is just that it has no real personality It seems that mostly business men stay there. The night life outside is busy with many young women looking...

This place needs a bit of TLC. It is OK if you get a cheap rate but there are many newer hotels all around. The staff are very good and helpful. The Wi-Fi was terrible, for the first time in years I had to connect via a cable to have internet access. The restaurant looked very average.

Location is good. Near BTS and Emporium, with some restaurants nearby. The hotels is a bit old and cannot compare with modern standard. Not all staff speak can speak English well and lack of smile. Besides, I reserved a room with one Bed and they assigned me with a twin bed room without explanation and apology. Even they noticed I...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
