This is another visit to amari watergate Bangkok. What can I say , the place is constantly renovated for the better, the executive floor level 32 offers generous servings for breakfast and late cocktails and a wide range of drinks for the fussy ones, the...More
Hotel was great, good sized rooms and beds are comfy, easy to get around bangkok, good location, we had rooms high up, but lifts were good size and fast up and down, also the prices here are great, not to expensive,
Large hotel in a busy area of the town, convenient for shopping. Good and friendly service, arranged fair priced taxi to the airport. The room was spacious enough, but with a disturbing step down to the bathroom, in which the shower floor had some black...More

If it is your first visit to BKK take a cab from the hotel insist on the meter being switched on before you go anywhere. Tuk tuk will be more expensive, hot and fun but possibly something you would do for a shorter journey. Last time we did this we took the water bus, it is clean and safe the all day ticket is quite cheap and the stop (Water Gate) is just over the road from the hotel on the bridge L/H/S. Hotel to Palace - 10 -15 minutes 3 minute walk at the other end - just follow every one else! You can visit other places all day on the same ticket.
