Stunningly renovated, the interior design in wow! The lobby is just a beautiful place to relax and listen to the Thai musician. The room I stayed in was lovely, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic but the best was yet to come. Ate at the French themed bistro and was blown away with the quality - blue crab and avocado salad followed by slow cooked (8 hours I was told) beef cheek. I stayed 4 days and couldn’t have met nicer, friendlier or better trained staff. Everyone was lovely. I will definitely return - to try the famous chicken rice that is the talk of the town at the moment.

We had arrived at Montien during two separate occasions during the holiday and both times we were greeted with welcoming and enthusiastic doormen. Walking inside there was a very nicely big lobby, with a small bar, with seats on the side for you to sit in. We then arrived at our room and inside we received a small platter of snacks, including quiches, cakes and all sorts of sweets as well as a letter welcoming our visit. Our rooms were massive, with a couch, bed, desk, big bathroom and an amazing view of the city. This was one of the biggest and the best rooms I have ever stayed in. The pool was outdoors and had lounge chairs all on the side and towels for you to use. The gym was also on the same floor and came with a variety of equipment and tools that you could use. The food is absolutely ranging from western to traditional thai dishes. Every morning the restaurant at the hotel serves a buffet all the way until 10am. The food there is my favourite with so many different dishes to choose from and each part of the buffet serves a different style or type of food. The staff are all very friendly, easy-going and approachable and very kind and willing to help out in any way. The hotel is located next to an an arrange of shops and shopping malls, as well as the convenient BTS Skytrain to get around. Overall this hotel is absolutely amazing, with such good quality features and every time I visit Bangkok I always go to Montien and it never fails to dissapoint. 10/10! Love it!…

Reasonable price point Staff felt that they genuinely wanted to help you. Rooms neat n clean Generous lobby space and non of the hustle and bustle of jammed Sukhumvit yet close to subway by foot. Plenty of food options within walking distance. My choice of stay when in town.

I was greeted by friendly and enthusiastic doormen, who welcomed me into the Montien Hotel, the staff were professional and helpful, and the GM, Mr Pierre went out of his way to make sure me and my family were comfortable. The food was extraordinary, there was a variety of food, including the famous chicken rice, which was scrumptious. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. There were big windows and we had a great view. The location is great and convenient as it is in the city, it is surrounded by loads of restaurants and shops, and is near a BTS. I enjoyed my stay in the Montien hotel and hope to come back soon.

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise and far exceeded our expectations in every area. After a long flight, it was a amazing to have the VIP treatment from the moment we arrived - thanks to Pierre and his team! The pictures don't do it justice. It is tastefully decorated with traditional Thai touches. The guest rooms are spotless and luxuriously appointed. Breakfast buffet was phenomenal - to the point that when we were staying at another Bangkok hotel that was 4x the price, we thought about coming back to the Montien just for the breakfast! The location is perfect and a short walk from the skytrain, restaurants, shopping, etc. Thank you Montien Staff for a wonderful stay!

I had the pleasure of staying at The Montien for 3 weeks 2 months ago when on a company-booked trip. My room and bed were extremely comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and unobstructed views, quality amenities including a Nespresso machine. The Montien decor is modern, Thai style and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful, with plenty of variety. Pierre Pelletier, the Area General Manager and his team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding! Then this month when my family and I planned a vacation to Bangkok I picked this hotel as our base. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the sky and underground trains, many must-go-to restaurants, cafes, Siam Paragon, temples, Chinatown, night walks and more. We were welcomed with incredible 5-star Thai hospitality. Special mention to Khun Nu, her front desk team and night manager Khun Jew for handling flight delays, airport transfers and arranging pick up of lost luggage, Khun Tik for his world-class warm welcomes, Max’s regular assistance and taxi coordination, the ever-helpful and polite bellmen, Beer remembering our morning coffee preferences, Kae at Ruenton restaurant for looking after us at dinners, friendly Tanya at the lobby bar, the housekeeping team for keeping our 3 rooms impeccable and everyone who made our Bangkok vacation so memorable! It felt like our home away from home and we enjoyed our time here so much!…

What a gorgeous hotel!! Pierre is the warm and considerate GM , making sure all his guests feel welcome The restaurant is devine , I liked the private dining area!
