Staying at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit was an experience my family and I will cherish for a lifetime. It goes beyond the amazing architecture and ambience of the hotel—the staff is what truly made our stay so special. Our butler Orun surprised us with a lovely dessert plate and went above and beyond for all our needs. We felt like we were executive members and really experiencing the benefits of the Luxury Suite! Any time we dialed zero Orun was always quick to answer the phone and come to our room to fulfill our requests within less than 10minutes. I was so impressed with how Kotchakorn from Guest Services would email me about our laundry to ask about any tears or stains discovered in our garments. Even the way the clothes were neatly delivered back to our room was a pleasant surprise. What really warmed my family’s heart was the one-of-a-kind personal customer service we received from Veera at the concierge when it came to planning my sister’s midnight birthday surprise. Veera emailed me balloon, flowers, and champagne options; told me the cake was complimentary; and coordinated with the Food and Beverage manager to make sure they would make an exception of delivering dinner in-room dining to us at midnight. He took care of everything for me! At 11:58PM staff members arrived at the suite to help me decorate the room! At midnight, I brought my sister in, they turned off the lights, and sang Happy Birthday to her with my family! My sister was SO happy and surprised and we loved the food. The pool boy was great and always said hello to us and gave us our towels every time we went to the beautiful pool. The staff at the Grande Spa also made our stay so relaxing. We went to the Spa 3 times and loved every single experience. We also enjoyed the food and staff at the breakfast buffet that we went every morning! Lastly, we can’t state enough how thankful we are for meeting Songpol. He always arranged our driver for us and whenever he’d find out where we were going and gave us so many tips on where to shop and where to eat. He would talk to the driver before we’d get in the car to tell them our route for the day and even gave us the best times to go to the Floating Market and temples so that we could really experience them. Songpol not only felt like our personal travel guide, but a dear friend of ours and is what made our time in Bangkok so memorable and now one of our favorite places in the world. Thank you SGS for our best vacation yet! We will certainly be back soon.

Service here was superb: reservation reps, check-in, doormen, housekeepers, etc. Even though I showed up very early I was able to get into a room right away (thank you so much Yada). My 7000 baht credit from a previously cancelled stay was acknowledged right away without any fuss. They offered to have fresh coffee delivered to my room (a Bonvoy elite perk here) and it arrived almost immediately after I stepped into my room. The room was spacious and comfortable with some explanations of how some of the decor, including the bathroom tiles, are sourced from local artisans. A nice touch. My only gripe is that the pool area is heavily oversubscribed and therefore I didn’t get a chance to use it.

Hotel staffs are attentive and friendly. Breakfast buffet is so-so, need to change daily to give varieties so that if guests stay for more than 2 days, they will not be bored with the food. Had fun in the club Barsu. Staffs really know hot to make guest feel at home. And most of all, this managers Boom, is the best! She made us go back there continuously for 3 nights! I will definitely come back to Sheraton Grand if ever I am in Bangkok again!

This was a wonderful hotel! Centrally located, in the city centre. The property was excellent and so was the service! The entire staff, every single person you encountered was very pleasant and helpful. The check-in was flawless and the concierge service went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and take care of anything we needed. They were extremely helpful. Everyone spoke English and it so it was easy to communicate. The rooms were very nice and spacious, clean, with all the amenities. Overall, excellent experience in Bangkok!

Good room in terms of size, quiet and decoration. Poor breakfast: chemical orange juice, minimum variety of croissants, pain chocolate, etc…or salad food We had 2 incidents difficult to understand in a 5 stars hotel: Our first day, when we arrived to the room we found a letter asking us to accelerate the payment of the bill because we overpassed the guarantee took when we arrived. So, somehow, they consider us a kind of thieves. On top of that, when we arrive late afternoon to the room, we realized that room was not cleaned; so it was as we left early morning when we left the hotel. We were forced to call to immediately make up the room. Just small detail but that describes perfectly the la l of attention to details: cleansing the room the staff inform us that there is not more tissues to refill the box; out of stock until next day. They don’t have enough tissues stock??? Really?? As everywhere in Thailand, staff was top, super friendly.

As we pride ourselves on delivering a memorable hotel experience during your travels, we have unfortunately fallen short of our goal during your recent stay. I sincerely apologize for the shortcomings you experienced during your stay with us. I am concerned to learn that you were disappointed with the delayed service from our room attendant whereby the room make-up service for your room was not serviced until the afternoon. Naturally, our room make-up service is carried out from 9.00-15.00 hrs. I understand your expectation and apologize for the inconvenience. For your future visit, may I respectfully suggest that you advise us in advance of your preferred time for the room to be made up and our room attendant will arrange for the service accordingly. Also, I have further investigated on the tissue and found that the tissue has not been out of stock recently and this should not have been an issue. Regarding the credit card guarantee, kindly allow me to explain that upon check in, our Guest Service Agent requests for the credit card guarantee to cover the room charges and incidentals that may occur during your stay with us. Should later on the actual expenses exceed the guaranteed deposit amount, our Guest Service Agent will request for additional deposit amount. This is the global practice of international hotel chains. I have noted your comment on buffet breakfast. We generally do provide a very extensive selection of favorites, Western and Asian. Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai and Indian items daily. We also offer a wide variety of freshly baked croissants, pain au chocolat, pastry, bakery and bread etc. If there is a particular item you are unable to find, please let the service attendant know and she / he will do their best to serve it to you. Once again, thank you very much for your valued feedback as your opinions are very valuable in helping us maintain a high level of service to guests and in ensuring that your expectations are met on each visit. I travel quite a bit and also live in Chicago where I have stayed at many higher end hotels. The Sheraton Grand Sukhumvit is listed as my top 5 but in BKK it’s listed as my first and future only choice. The customer service is high level and most importantly the friendliness is sincere from the bellman, doorman, receptionist, concierge, and butler service. At check in, I was highly impressed with the proper level of English speaking receptionist. I speak Thai but it’s not perfect so I didn’t have to embarrass myself by trying to communicate in Thai. I also do not feel that establishments should be looked down upon for not adapting more to Western ways…we are the visitors here. I would have felt just as pleased with my check in process with or without an English speaking receptionist. Location location location…this hotel is centralized in the prime of everything. It is connected to the Asok BTS and from there you can get anywhere for just a few dollars. It also has a walkway that connects to Mall Terminal 21 where there is a huge food court on the 5th floor. Nana Plaza is the next stop or if you are walking it’s just a 15 min walk away. Soi Cowboy 15 min walk the opposite way. I never woke up in time for breakfast but the menu did look good. My favorite was the butler service. After 5 minutes of calling I had a fresh pot of coffee or tea along with a cookie that was offered at any time of the day or night. The complimentary laundry service was also nice as I didn’t have to bring home dirty laundry (2 articles per guest daily complimentary). Call by 10am for pickup and by the early evening my clean clothes were back hanging in my closet. The room was always stocked with plenty of bottles of water. The minibar was stocked well but I didn’t dabble in it. The room was super clean and house keeping kept it well-kept. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the AC was nice and cool. The only issue I had was the shower not draining properly. I made 1 phone call and by the time I returned to my room it was fixed. The next morning there was a knock on the door with an apology letter and chocolate sculpted wrench. I was thrown off when he said he was here to apologize as the shower was not a big deal and I had already forgotten about it. Super nice touch! I also received a follow up email from the GM, Carl V. Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit is our family favourite hotel in Bangkok. It has beautiful pool , the room are very nice , clean , the breakfast buffet is always so many choices of foods. We love “ the living room “ with amazing life music and wide selection of drinks. Besides all those luxuries , the staffs and their service are the best . Thanks to all those staffs- who served our family with hospitality and warm : Rittedon , Mina , Son , Pitaya .. the staffs at the pool . We don’t remember all the names of the staffs at the “ living room “ , breakfast, bar Su ( Ned … ) bell men … but they are wonderful! Thanks again for your service and hospitality. We will definitely come back !

Been here nearly two years. Its still my favorite hotel in bkk. A special shout out to K Sirinya-Cake. A true asset to the hotel who has been able to instill a superb service ethic across the f & b teams from sala to living room and is always there to assist with any service related issues. She is always happy and her lovely nature cheers anyone up on the hardest day! Hotel is truly fortunate to have her.

This is my first review after Covid-19 hit by storm in Bangkok, Thailand. I checked in at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok on the 12th of January 2023. The check in was smooth and without incidence. Have to thank the General Manger Carl Volschenk and his staff for accommodating me for small things which I say big thank you and a reflection of an excellent “feel good” experience. The hotel has an excellent spa and amenities from sauna and steam room and whirlpool apart from the gym. My experience there - very nice polite and friendly staff. Both the reception staff at the spa, did remember me as returning guest and provide warm welcome. This the management should give credit to this frontline staff. - 4 star for the complement. On Friday the 13th, January 2023, my next great experience was at lunch at the buffet in the Orchid Cafe. My family of 5 including me had a very good experience. I would give credit to the manager of the Orchid Cafe, who always provided excellent service and assistance whenever I dined there. I find their breakfast very good at good price point and variety. Today’s experience was at the lunch buffet. The quality and variety is par excellence. I have had the opportunity to know their cuisine over many executive chefs and choices. Today it was a perfect lunch and siesta time for me. The variety and taste was great. Small things make great moments for the staff. All of them and in particular the manager and her staff servicing my table did an excellent job and hope management will reward them. Small and simple nuance creates great satisfaction and most importantly “The Feel Good Experience” I give 9.3 out of 10. Food choices - 10 (our of 10) Overall Service attention - 10 (out of 10) Variety - 10 (out of 10) Attentiveness - 9.3 (out of 10) Quality of the food - 10 (out of 10) Staff attentiveness of repeat customer recognition - 10 (out of 10) Finally a big thank you to Chef Palumbo - for the hospitality he extended to me on a previous visit. Overall - score - 9.3 “Feel Good Experience” Will I visit again - 9.99 Location- centrally located and offers many other options and nearby shopping and the hub of both the BTS and MRT.
