Rooms are old and dirty!! Size is ok. Location, not far from pat pong district. Easy to reach metro station. Service is so-so. Breakfast as well is not so great but ok. Pastries are hard. Bad thing is their internet services constantly disconnecting and you will need to manually relogin using such password as long series of nb and letters!...

The hotel is very old and dated. Every piece of furniture and fitting has a 80s feel to it. But it is still well maintained and cleanliness is good. The location is quite a long walk to the Chong Nonsi BTS and a even longer walk to Sala Daeng BTS (1.1 km). The breakfast is good and worth waking up...

My wife and I spent a total of six nights at this hotel. Though it is considered to be in the business district, it is only a short walk from Silom Road (major shopping and "people-watching", Lumphini Park, Metro and SkyLine stations, several skytop bars, a thriving night market, and an entertaining red light district. You can also arrange for a...

We spent an entire week in Bangkok – never been there before – so we took a chance at this hotel based on the very positive ratings here. And our expectations were not only met, they were exceeded by far! The place is not ultra-modern but extremely well kept by an extraordinarily friendly and helpful staff. We loved the brassy...

we booked a junior suite for 10 nights, 2 adults and one child thru expedia. when we checked in, found that the room has only one king bed for 3 of us. we asked for an extra bed for child, the hotel said that their policy was an extra charge of 1600 bath per night which is about $45 extra...

I would place it above a budget hotel but underneath a quality hotel. The rooms are ok, staff is friendly but the place feels outdated and old but everything is clean and tidy. But as stated the prices are good for what you get. You will have a comfortable stay.

Good choice for medium price category hotel. Good location for local traveling. Local food choices, including breakfast. Fitness, small swimming pool. Friendly staff. Hotel is located close to Silom complex and street.

Good hotel with super friendly staff! Haven't gone down to enjoy the breakfast buffet, but the hotel location is good with lots of activities nearby and places to eat. My only complain is the rug in the rooms, looks dirty and it's very old, can't walk without slippers in the room.

We stayed here 3 nights while on a tour. I thought it a very nice hotel, and the included breakfast was great. Our room was fairly large and very comfortable. The only drawback was that the hotel was not very close to downtown. I would stay here again if ever again in Bangkok. We took a cab in from the...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
