We stayed at this hotel for two nights on our way back from Krabi. The room was very nice, the bathroom clean and, overall, the property looked to be well maintained. As our visit was just before Xmas, they had placed a large Xmas tree in the foyer which was a nice touch. The swimming pool and deck were well...

This was our first visit to Bangkok. And we had to change our plans on arrival due to our luggage being lost. This left us somewhat at a loss. I can not express how helpful the front desk staff were in helping us speak to airline. One young lady in particular whom I can not recall her name. A credit...

We stayed for two nights to begin our travels around Asia. We decided to book somewhere nice for the first couple of nights to recover from the traveling and to celebrate New Year's Eve and our anniversary. This hotel was great!! The staff were very helpful, the rooms were lovely and clean and well equipped, the pool was fab although...

We were here for 3 nights, it was a serene and quiet place, and had a fantastic pool and lobby area. Also quite close to some delicious road side food vendors, massage parlours and shopping malls. The hotel has an old world feel to it, but the rooms are super modern and elegant.

Stayed for 4 nights at an amazingly cheap price (well less than £50pn as offer was stay for 4 nights pay for 3) Didn't take the breakfast option as many good restaurants providing breakfast close by. Room was large, clean with all of the amenities we required. Enjoyed an afternoon by the pool after rushing around the sites. Taxis are...

I spent a week here over the New Year Holidays, staying in one of the Executive Rooms. These were of a good size and well appointed, although starting to show signs of wear and tear. My only real complaint about the room was the master control panel which was backlit with LED's that could give Las Vegas a run for...

A good tidy hotel in the city centre. Perfect location for city touring. A nice room on the 10th floor gave great views of the city. The attention to detail to have been better as the bathroom was not completely tidy when we checked in. Nothing horrific though. Good customer service nice concierge helping us throughout our stay and some...

We are here for 4 nights, only £26 per person per night inclusive of breakfast. Fantastic value in a grand old hotel. Excellent breakfast choice, something for everyone, not ate in their own restaurants yet, but we do intend the Indian restaurant before we leave. Spacious room, good Wifi signal, although you do need to log in occasionally, but it's...

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst in Bangkok. Helpful staff and really nice room. Everything worked! Great breakfast with super pleasant staff. Loads of choice of cuisine. Good pool with pool towels and changing. Drinks and restaurant really expensive so didn't eat here. It's really handy for the skytrain- get a day ticket for 140Bt. It's excellent. Then take the...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
