My fourth and most recent stay at this apartment in May - June of this year was as anticipated. Very good value for money when you look at all the inclusions. Spacious clean rooms cleaned daily, internet access, laundry and kitchen with everything you need to feel like a home away from home. This time I would like to talk...

I rented a month at Somerset and it was incredible value for a fairly standard finish one bedroom. However the Internet wifi which was I think either no charge or very cheap for the month was unreliable. Now for sure it may have improved since November 2010 and I sure hope it has. This is a thrills high rise but...

We stayed at Somerset Suanplu for 8 nights. As a family, we are 2 adults, one child and one baby. To summarize our experience, it's basically a 4 STAR residence with 3 STAR service. We stayed on the 11th floor and the room was bigger than we expected. They also gave us a baby cot. Breakfast is average and i...

Stayed there because of a conference nearby. Price was just right, in fact it was a surprise to actually find such good rates in Bangkok! less than USD100 for a one room apartment. Eas expected of the somerset brands, it is fully equipped with facilities that a hotel room will never have! such as washing machine, cutleries and cooking utensils!...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.

“Having tried about 20 different rooms over the years I find all are great and well-equipped. Recently changed to having locked window doors, likely for security reasons. Might be an option on lower floors to let the customer have at least the option to open the window doors.”
