This was our first time staying at stable lodge.
Stable lodge is in a great location in Bangkok close to travel links and night life
Can't fault the staff they were friendly and helpful

Booked a superior room for two at a budget price, without breakfast, for a cost of $400 for 7 nights. However, the cost was greater and facilities fewer than the Swan Hotel where I stayed in December 2013. No hairdryer or kettle or iron in...More
Stable Lodge is perfectly located near Sukhumvit, excellent service, good food and a small and clean swimming pool. Scandinavian and great Thai food. Good beds. The staff is very friendly and the travel guide is amazing and knows where to send you.
Being from Denmark and wanted to introduce a Thai friend to some comfort food we opted for the weekend lunch buffet. Having been here many times before I know that this is the best option to taste different cold dishes.

this hotel is minutes walk from the sky train which is v important in Bangkok near pubs/bars and you can go anywhere on the sky train for pennies fairly basic but clean stayed for 3 nights would return
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
Book in advance as much as you can and ask for a room near the pool, however the pool side is closer to the road and I took a room towards the back side because it would be more quiet,This is areally good hotel!
