This hotel is perfect for those who prefer luxury in a classic and intimate setting. The hotel feels like a grand colonial home. Everything is perfect. Beds are great. Lovely balcony and verranda. The downside: the fantastic roof top pool is not illuminated in the evening and closes at 7pm for no obvious reason. But this remains a hotel where...

We loved staying at the hotel, it felt like a home away from home. We were three generations staying there, and we enjoyed it immensely. The staff is professional, accommodating and very welcoming. We will absolutely return.

Loved staying in this hotel. Situated at the end of a lane off busy Sukumvit, it is a quiet oasis, tastefully decorated in colonial Asian style. The staff are warm and friendly. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is a rooftop pool with good views. The breakfast is very good. Highly recommended

Our room was spacious and unique in interior design. The staff were charming and very helpful. Hotel is small and has the feel of a private club. Good location near major shopping centers and the train.

This hotel has a perfect old-world charm, located right in the thick of trendy Thong Lo. It's a minute walk to the BTS, but you can't hear any of the crazy noise of Bangkok, because the hotel is down a small soi. It has a rooftop pool with full sun (often tough to find in Asia, where locals don't like...

In the middle of Bangkok we found this stylish Hotel in an old Colonial style Building. The staff was very friendly and after running around in Bangkok the Swimmingpool on the rooftop was a blessing. The room was huge and the furniture very stylish like the Hotel. A must stay for people who like to be in the middle of...

The Cabochon was heaven. The hotel is wonderfully decorated with antique items and gorgeous little nooks and crannies that make you want to photograph everything. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, catering to anything we needed. The breakfast was scrumptious - great way to start your day touring around Bangkok. The restaurant served the best food we had during...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
