I had a long layover at night and decided to stay in hostel nearby the airport and it only takes about 10 minutes(or less) with taxi. Although i commute with taxi in the midnight and early morning where traffic is good, I'm not sure about the usual traffic. Taxi cost me about 120Baht if I'm not mistaken or i should say it's about 120-150 Baht.
Staffs are available at midnight and they can speak a little bit of English. The room was pretty clean and small than i expected and the bed was decent for this price.
I stayed less than 8 hours in the hostel. They assigned me room 17, which’s a room for 4 people and there was no one! After 15 min I saw a insect in my pillow, so I changed bed. After 5minutes I saw 2 together , so I thought it was bedbugs and I took pictures of them. I went to the reception and saw the pictures, and she said it could be because it was raining... ( first of all bedbugs stays in the bed and don’t appears because the rain) and she changed my room to 16 but she said she couldn’t give me a key or a locker... It was midnight and I was really tired so I believed that room didn’t have bedbugs... when I woke up in the morning I had all my back and my legs with bites!!!
From the moment I entered Bangkok airport I fell in love with the city. I had an amazing experience in this country! Everything is car accessible and the locals are super helpful and friendly. I stayed 2 days in Bangkok and traveld to koh chang island, lonely beach is the place to be! Visit ting tong bar if you are looking for n fantastic party.
Had to stay a night in Bangkok due to a flight issue and was pleasantly surprised with this place which was only $18 for the night for 2 people. Nothing fancy and the beds are pretty hard but the place is reasonably clean and tidy with friendly staff and good air con! Would recommend this hostel if you need a quick stay! Bring your own bed sheet and blanket though cos there wasn't really anything to use-luckily I had my Qantas blanket from the plane!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hostel and as a reflection of all other hospitals throughout Asia; I would suggest that many of them need to send the staff here so they can learn the basics of customer service.
The property is very clean and I was made to feel most welcome from the very moment I entered the hostel.
