A very relaxing place in Bangkok, far away from the crowded areas of city center. Good environment, supportive and cooperative host. Food is average. Safe, secured, relaxing and close to Don Muang AIrport, Mo Chit BTS and Nakonchai Air Bus Terminal. Easy to move anywhere, just 2 mins walk to get a public transport. Good for family with kids and...

This is a real basic homestay which literally lets you stay at a family's home. The location is really bad as our driver could not find it (even with GPS on) and had to call the homestay. Rooms are very basic and a 'nice' rooster will let you know that it's morning....at 4 am. Breakfast was meager and you will...

Where to start: the bed is hard, the pillow is hard, there's a rooster that starts at 4 am and the room is small. Worst of all: the bed makes your skin itch all over the place. It can only be bedbuggs. And it's about 20 min from the airport by taxi, 45 in traffic so it's not really closeby....

This hotel is OK if you wish to stay for a night when travelling from DMK. Be warned that it can take up to 45 mins to get to due to traffic, roadworks and BTS construction. On the other hand it can take 15 mins to get to DMK. It's not the easiest hotel to find, make sure you have...

My boyfriend and I arrived at Suvarnabhumi in the evening, and had a flight out of Don Muang the following morning, and selected Phurahong homestay as the place to sleep for the night. Pros: -The owner. She's an absolute sweetheart and very hospitable. The airline had lost all of our bags, and even though we arrived at the guesthouse after...

We chose this hotel because we were told it was just 2 km away from don muang airport and we needed a place to stay near there. In fact the hotel wasn't that near, it took us 25/30 minutes from the airport (200 baths) and was difficult to find. We told the owners about the 2 km and they told...

Phurahong homestay is a 10 to 30 minutes taxi drive from Don Muang airport (time depends on traffic). Don't forget to download the route description for the taxi driver. Its hard to find. I think it doesn't fit for a Bangkok visit, because its far away from the city centre. You get a very warm welcome when you arrive. The rooms...

It is a lovely guesthouse away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Helpful owners, basic but clean rooms, lots of pets around the house, nice pond and good price make Phurahong Homestay a great place to stay for those looking for a quiet accommodation near airport or those, who simply don't like staying in huge, noisy cities...

“We stayed in a room directly at the front of the hotel, (the Udon room) and luckily, we we're up early to make our way to the airport. But the 6am crowing cockerel would've been very badly received if not. There seemed to be a few chickens and cocks at the front of the homestay. So a room to the back of the hotel could therefore be recommended.”

“If you have difficulty climbing stairs ask for one on 1st floor, if possible. There are no lifts as this is a home-stay NOT a hotel! Your luggage will be carried upstairs for you by the family's sons.”
