Bangkok is not a town to be travelling in any more than you can help and consequently I've stayed at the Davis more times than I care to remember because my principal place of work is pretty much around the corner. Sukhumvit is an area I like too since it's a little away from the main tourist area and yet...

Spend one night, everything is okay but some front staff quite not friendly. Parking zone is quite small, big car may have a little problem. Located in a center of Bangkok Many restaurant and close to Emporium and Emquaitier

We spent 1 night, at the Davis Hotel. Arrived close to midnight and departed at 10 am, so this review is solely based on the reception service and room. Check-in was quick and efficient. The room was the perfect respite after a flight from NY-Beijing-Bangkok. Spacious, clean, romantic, just perfect. The bed was a little hard, but I slept like...

Stayed here a few times and cannot complain about the rooms - be it the new wing or the old. Situated on the quieter side of Sukhumvit, The Davies is great for those who tend to spend quite a fair bit of time indoors as much as they do exploring markets and other touristy things. Customer service is touch and...

Our stay this time was even better, being in a suite. There were 2 bedrooms at opposite ends with a very comfortable and efficient kitchenette, office area, and living room iwith comfy couch, chairs and TV in the middle. Each bedroom had its own bathrooms complete with tub, shower, sink, toilet and dressing area. If you need more than one...

This is my favorite hotel in Bangkok and I am a regular there and had written a glowing review earlier. None of that changed, but on my last trip, I arrived by an early morning flight and asked for an early check in and they charged me half price, but that half price was as much as the full price...

This hotel could be great if it weren't for some terrible customer service practices that left a very sour taste in our mouths. The facilities; room, pool and overall cleanliness were very good so it is such a shame that something so easy to manage and get right such as customer service has resulted in this review and an overall...

We stayed here 1 night, we had an executive suite which was lovely. Two spacious bedrooms both with ensuites with baths, walk in showers. Had a big lounge and kitchenette between the bedrooms. Air conditioner throughout the suite, fridge. Was just under 3000 Bhat for the night with a 1000 Bhat safety deposit on arrival. Great location hotel has a...

Super convenient location, easy to get to markets and shopping malls by train. Walking distance to many massage parlors. Clean Hotel and very friendly staff. The breakfast had a big range and would definitely come here again if I go to Bangkok.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
