Neighbourhood
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

Hotel is old and badly need a renovation. It is still pretty much the same when I visited it 6 years ago. Room is old. Breakfast is decent but nothing to shout for. I like the gym though it is small but the fact there is no drinks dispenser which customers have to pay for

Great hotel with huge rooms and very comfortable. Checking in and had a rather hard bed which the team fixed immediately when ask if they could do something about it added a topper! Clean and convenient to the local area and has plenty of options for food locally that you can

I stayed one night at this hotel in January and I booked a deluxe room. The hotel was clean, welcoming, and quiet. The room was exceptionally spacious, to the point that I was amazed. The bathroom was also clean and large. The staff were friendly and pleasant. After I

I spend around 100 nights a year in Bangkok and usually stay at one of the chain hotels close by, but I have recently become a little disillusioned by their valuation of their rooms. They clearly think they are worth a lot more than I do, so I decided to try the Davis for my

Hi, it costs about 400-450 baht. We looked at the train option but with two suitcases and changing trains then walking about a km from the Emporium station it was going to be a bit of a mission. Easy to get a taxi from the airport but like most taxi drivers theyll try and start at around 600 so just move on to the next one. Its controlled quite well though so you shouldnt have to pay more than I said. For the rest of our stay though we bought a train pass each and that was the quickest and cheapest way to get around. The hotel has a tuk tuk that goes up to the Emporium station (5 mins) if you dont feel like walking otherwise its a quick ten minute walk on a pleasant road. Enjoy your stay. The Davis is lovely
