You get what you pay for, the walls are so thin it's like it's only a curtain, so expect a lot of noise, the room itself is as basic as you can get, the bed was fine, but old and the cleanliness of the room was so so

You get what you pay for. We wanted cheap and we got cheap! Double room with fan and a very hard bed. Probably the dirtiest hostel I've ever stayed in. Bathrooms are gross, walls are gross. Impractical showers, the kind that are right over the toilet and no hooks to hang a towel on. We were in and out, just...

Cheap clean and close to khoasan road. Rooms, AC, Wifi and staff are good. Shower on our level was super strong, the most pressure we've had throughout our 3wks in Thailand. We only stayed one night but it's was an easy stay and finally a quiet nights sleep.

My friends and I book a room with twin bed and fan. The room is more comfortable and nice than i imagine. But a little bit hot. The bathroom is a shared bathroom. I forgot to take picture but it is nice. They also provide soap and shampoo inside the bathroom if you forgot to bring it.

The location was only 5minutes from Koh San Road. Two fans in room was ideal. The beds were like laying on a concrete slab...extremely uncomfortable. There are nets at the top of the walls linking you to other rooms so you can hear every single bit of noise from the streets and rooms along the corridor. The bathrooms were dirty,...

Simple, you get what you pay for here. It's extremely noisy every night (where every room can hear your conversations), not very clean at all (shared bathrooms yuk!), but on the plus side it's extremely cheap and in a perfect location for Khaosan Road. Take a risk if you want?

Amazing house is located in a nice little neighborhood, a 5-10min walk from Khao San but far enough to avoid its craziness. Its well located to visit the main monuments. The rooms are clean and average comfort. The walls are incredibly thin though! The staff is ok but clearly couldn't care less.

Amazing House is situated close to Khao San Road, about 5 min by foot. The price is ok, but be careful to take a room with air condition... The rooms has nothing but a bed (with a really hard mattress) so don't expect to get any comfort. And except from one guy the staff is not really english speaking...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
