I decided to treat myself so I booked Room 401, with a full view of the river for four nights. Beautiful room, beautiful hotel, nice breakfast, but mostly very nice staff (throughout Thailand). BUT....they have a singer who performs from around 7 to 11 pm every night. I was on a busy tour schedule and needing to get to sleep by 9:00. The guy may as well have been inside my room. It was that loud. I called several times to complain or find out when he would stop. It never stopped, sometimes even going past 11:00. If you are a night owl who isn't bothered by loud muffled music in your room until 11+, this hotel is ideal. Otherwise, no sleep. I feel like they need to figure out if they are running a hotel or a night club. I won't stay again.
We stayed in Panorama Room on 5th floor on 26-27th January 2023. PROS : - Wonderful view from our room. - Excellent services. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. - Room and public areas were tidy and clean. - Standard inroom amenities were provided. - Plenty of street food around the hotel. - Nice hotel cafe, restaurant and bars. CONS : - No soundproof. Incredibly noisy in our room 16.00-23.00 (live music from rooftop bar or the one downstairs). - Only 1 mirror in the bathroom can actually be used. Should have got one more in the bedroom. - Shower gel and shampoo were provided but no conditioner. - Won't be able to reach the hotel by car/taxi due to super narrow alleyways. - We had a bad sleep, not only the noise from bars but aircon was also pretty warm whole night. ** Thumps up to all staff for the great hospitality.…
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel it was amazing. The room was fantastic and the views watching the dinner cruise boats go up and down the Chayo Praya River was amazing. We stayed up half the night enjoying the views. Amazing experience and staff were wonderful
We enjoyed our stay at the Baan Wanglang Riverside. The location was ideal as you can get the water taxi across the river to everywhere you need to go, so it is centrally located to tourist sites. The views are also unbeatable, looking right at the grand palace and Wat Arun. The breakfast was great as well. One small thing, it felt a little nickeled and dimed at times, but all and all it was a great experience and a wonderful location.
Reviewed: January 12, 2023 We will be back for 5 days at the end of March and looking forward to it. 10 Liked · Our taxi drove us from the airport and called when we arrived outside the Baan Wanglang Market. Very soon a driver in a tuk tuk arrived to take us to the hotel as a car cannot travel down the narrow alleyways while the market is on. Our River Front room at Baan Wanglang was everything that we saw in the photos and more. Firstly the room was very large, the bed super comfortable, a great working fridge, and was beautiful and immaculately clean. The view from the room was stunning. The reception staff were always available and always greeted you whenever they saw you. Loved, loved, loved the area. You could find pretty well anything in the market that went from early in the morning until about 5 in the afternoon. Mostly local people, not many tourists. Many real good food options around and yes of course Vietnamese Coffee. Just on the corner into the market is a very good modern type restaurant with very good soups and across from that is a traditional restaurant with awesome soup. Both really quite different. Fresh fruit available all over the market. Disliked · It really wasn't a bother but if you go to bed early the entertainer down in the restaurant performs until 10 pm so it might be a bother. After 10 it is a very quiet area and no noise at all until the boats start up in the morning but even then they are not noisy.…
We splurged at the end of our 3 week trip on the nicest room in the hotel, 5th floor Riverview corner suite. It was worth it! Very spacious and we brought in a rollaway bed for our son. Lovely staff, incredible location right on the river. The views are fabulous. It was so fun to learn how to take the water buses and ferries all around Bangkok, so convenient. Had a nice meal in the 1st floor restaurant on our final night of our trip. Otherwise we grabbed lots of delicious street food in the incredible market right outside the door.
5 star service and wonderful accomodation . Baan Wang Lang Riverside has an intimate feel just right for our family . Both Corner Suite and River View Suites have outstanding views . Great place to take in the life of the city . Short walks to food and cross river ferry . We will use Baan Wang Lang Riverside as our stay in Bangkok every time.
Fantastic location away from the many tourist hotels and right on the river. Outstanding location, water taxis (boats) are right at the doorstep. Staff, food, and amenities are fantastic. Very clean hotel, room with a view over the river.
We are glad the hotel arranged a taxi for us from the airport as the last part of the journey was down really narrow market alleys with people having to bring in awnings and move stuff out of the way for us to pass! We had a riverfront room with the most amazing view of the river. We were not overlooked so left the curtains open all night to see the sunrise in the morning. Always something to watch on the river. Breakfasts were extra, but nice. Tried the restaurant a couple of times and it was OK. Great location as long as you like the adjacent market and use the riverboats and ferries; hard to reach by road. Grand Palace and Wat Arun very close by river. The only annoyances were a strange intense heat on one wall of the bathroom, making the room unbearably hot (maybe a water heater or something?) and the loud music right outside our balcony on the terrace in the evenings (the terrace bar was frequented by a completely different set of people to those staying in the hotel).…
Wonderful boutique little hotel. The rooms are lovely, the beds comfy and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The service was exceptional. The hotel has a fantastic selection of cafe, bar and restaurant with delicious food at reasonable prices. The rooftop bar is lovely to sit and see the Bangkok night skyline and the waterfront cafe is great to watch the river activity in the day. The hotel is also in the best place, right next to the amazing market. You can just step out of the peaceful tranquil atmos of the hotel into the lively hustle and bustle of the traders. Such fantastic food to be had there too.
