the hostel is located in a very good location. Very near Khao San road but it's far enough to have a quiet night when you sleep. Nice staffs, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. They have a rooftop bar also. Dorms, private rooms...

Arriving in Bangkok for the first time, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, nice size room and ensuite, lovely rooftop communal area. Great location if you've brought your walking legs. Super accommodating when we decided last minute we wanted to stay an extra night! Owner went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and got...

The property is at great location , you could access all the places from here. The staffs was sooooooo great but the facilities was not much satisfied . We took a private single room(located on fifth floor/No lift) which had no space even to stand and does not have window/ air circulation, it was so packed and toilet was not...

We needed a stop over in Bangkok before heading South and this was prefect. Open to let us check in at 8am, let us split payment as there was 6 of us and helped us with whatever we enquired! Rooms are really clean and tidy, showers are alright but you get used to them when travelling Thailand and safety was...

I was here with two friends for three nights - we had a bloody brilliant time. Beds were comfortable and clean, shower was hot. All the staff were so helpful and knew all the best places to go in Bangkok. The rooftop bar is tops, cosy and a great spot to meet other travellers. Happy hour drinks are super cheap...

The hostel is exactly what we expected it to be. The rooms are big and clean, but we did end up staying in a different room to what we had booked. However this turned out to be a positive as we got given an en suite with it! The only issue was the shower have quite a weak flow. There...

Clean, cheap dorm rooms in the heart of backpacker central and only a couple minutes walk from the main party road. The rooftop garden is a awesome place to hang out and meet people, especially because the happy hour deals are fantastic. On top of that the staff are extremely nice and accommodating, helping us with everything from shuttles to...

We stayed here for three nights, and never had a problem. The dorm rooms were big and very clean, bathrooms were tidy too. Great facilities with a charming rooftop garden, perfect for socialising with international guests, drinking a few beers (or buckets if you like), playing some cards and relaxing under the fairy lights. The location is right amongst all...

God value for money and right in the heart of the backpacker district. Close to Khao San road parties and food, but still far enough away to be quiet. Service was fantastic, rooms were basic but clean. Cafe downstairs does nice breakfast. Rooftop bar is great for chats and very cheap, good drinks. Would definitely come back here. Only thing...

We stayed in Rang Kha Mhin for 3 nights. Rooms and amenities were basic but very very clean and with everything you could need. The things that really made this place stand out for us was the service that the staff provided. The home stay was bought by a British man earlier in the year and he always went above...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
