+ Good variety over 3 breakfast mornings; wifi in room was sufficient for two streaming video simultaneously; shower - good water pressure, temperature warmed up quickly, larger than average amount of space; mattress firm and very comfortable; good size room for two - didn't feel 'crowded' - Room climate control didn't have an auto setting whereas the fan would turn...

It is a good hotel on good location near the river so you can easily go anywhere with the boat. Take the local ferry for 14bht and don't go with private boats because they are expensive. If you want to be near the Khao San road you should definitely book some another hotel. This one is decent with everything you...

We stayed four nights and enjoyed being close to everthing, the (most of the time) nice and helpful staff and the good breakfast. Also, the hotel is not too expensive, so a good base near the river from which to explore the city. On the other hand, though, cleaning left a bit to be desired, as we found stuff under...

A very good buffet breakfast, eggs to order etc. The bed was very comfortable, lots of pillows. A friendly and courteous staff. Only one block from the local metro...

We apparently got a free upgrade to a superior room. All I can say is thank god we weren't in the standard. The Room Smelt unclean, was infested with Ants. The Bathroom was dirty with cracked sink. The Shower was also rubbish and they didn't replace the toiletries. When paying this price in Bangkok, you can do a lot lot...

We are travelling through Thailand on our honeymoon - as we are planning on staying in a few locations over 3-4 weeks we decided to try and make our Bangkok hotel a bit more of a budget one. The Bossotel was a very reasonable price, and our stay was comfortable - but not amazing. The pros: Room was a very...

The location of the hotel was great, right next to the central pier and the BTS station of Saphan Taksin The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was complete. These are the positive points. When welcoming us, the staff seemed nice and even gave us a welcome drink, bt each time we had a request, it seemed they were doing...

I've been loyal to the Bossotel for the past 5 years, but after my last visit I'm going to look elsewhere. First the pros. The location is great - near the river taxi, near the sky train, and near Silom which has lots of great shopping. The breakfast is pretty good - used to be bigger with more options, but...

I have been staying here for a number of times and every time I was happy. Hotel staff are friendly. Breakfast is standard but prepared with love. Location for me is perfect as I need to be in the Bangrak area

We have been staying at the Boss for over 20 years. They have upgraded over this time and it is a very nice hotel for a really good price. It is situated near the Chao Prya River and the Shangri la Hotel. There are lots of good restaurants, massage spas and shopping in the area. It is very near the...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
