My wife and I stayed for 3 nights starting Nov 25. The superior room was very good. Good size, 2 bottles of free water. The breakfast buffet was very good. The location is close to Sky train and public boat transportation. The only problem we had was the temperature of the water during a shower. It would go hot and...

We stayed at the Bossotel Inn for three nights in May. Firstly, the location was great. There are so many different areas in Bangkok, but the Bossotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the sky train & water ferries. Everything about the hotel was very average. The lobby was nice, the rooms were big, bathroom was clean. There was...

My husband and I stayed there at the end of our honeymoon in Thailand. The location is convenient, and next to some of the fanciest shopping in the city. You're next to the Shangri-La hotel, and State Tower, and great jewlery stores. The hotel is basic but charming. The rooms are large, but a little run down and tacky with...

We booked 4 nights at the Bossotel based on the reviews here. The location is terrific, the lobby is beautiful, and the breakfast buffet every morning is outstanding. However, we initially booked a standard room, which was miserable. The room was very small and shabby - the shower was nothing more than a nozzle coming out of the wall at...

After reading many reviews about hotels in Bangkok, my wife and I decided to try the Bossotel. We're glad we made the right decision. Other than the poor towels quality, everything else was superb! Great location, very clean, good breakfast. You can't go wrong staying at this place.

We stayed for 4 straight nights in their cheaper standard rooms as we thought we’d be out most of the time . The room was basic but clean . Towels were worn , however the bed was firm and comfortable and we had no problems with the aircon whatsoever, a nice respite after a hard day pounding the streets .The...

We stayed in total 3 nights at the Bossotel in Bangkok, and we don't really have anything bad to say about it. Friendly staff, good food, nice & clean room, and a very good location. You're very close to the river so you can take a public boat to get you around the city. Also the express train station is...

We paid about $60USD a night for this hotel. We initially booked a superior but upgraded to a deluxe room to accommodate 3 adults. The staff were great, and breakfast was good. The room was clean and spacious. The location is near skytrains, Watson's drug store, 7-11, Robinson department store, McDonalds's, etc. We walked to the Shangri-La hotel that's down...

We booked this hotel and did not expect much as the hotel did not cost much. Upon arrival we were suprised how nice the lobby was. The standard room we stayed in was OK although the shower had the tendency to shoot out hot water only from time to time. The buffet breakfast was OK and had a variety of...

If you stay in Bangkok and don't want to spend more than GBP 30 and still have great friendly service, cool location, super clean big rooms then you HAVE to stay in this hotel. Stayed there on the first night and last night of our trip. Staff really helpful, great recommendation of having dinner in the nearby excellent Harmonique restaurant....

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
