If you stay in Bangkok and don't want to spend more than GBP 30 and still have great friendly service, cool location, super clean big rooms then you HAVE to stay in this hotel. Stayed there on the first night and last night of our trip. Staff really helpful, great recommendation of having dinner in the nearby excellent Harmonique restaurant....

Good value of money. I stay here for 5 nights without any compliant. The hotel is close to everywhere we want to go and quiet enough for both of us. We did travel more than 10 hotels in Thailand and Malaysia, Bossotel is quit cheap if we compare with the money we paid especially the breakfast is excellent. They change...

Bossotel is really in the heart of Bangkok, on a small street in front of school - nice view as thai children walk in and out the gates. It's not far from main pier, and we could use local boats to move to other parts. TIP: Don't mix them with river taxis - they first tried to take us for...

We stayed in the Bossotel when we arrived in Bangkok and also before we flew back to the UK. The room cost approximately £30 a night and was definitely worth the money. Location wise, the hotel was ideal as it's walking distance from the sky train and from the river boats meaning that it's really easy to get to all...

We booked our room on [--] The rate is better online than being a walk-in. We asked the front desk about prices when we returned to Bangkok and the rate was $10-$15 higher than online. The location is great for the Sky Train and the River which made our touring really easy. I hated those tuk-tuk's. The breakfast was the...

This hotel is in a great location near The Oriental and Shangri-La and is a short walk to the sky train and river taxi pier. The staff are very friendly and the service is good for a budget hotel. My room was clean but a bit worn out - I stayed in the lower price bracket - around 1500 baht...

We loved our 5 nights stay here and only stayed elsewhere for our last 4 nights of the trip to try somewhere else and be closer to MBK etc. We had a Superior room with a view overlooking the temple and school across the road. The room was lovely and comfortable and breakfast was just brilliant. We didn t use...

We stayed at the Bassotel for 4 nights on the return from a European trip. As well as the good reviews here, I choose it for the convenient location to the Skyrail and the river ferry. It is an interesting 5 minute walk to both which was great, but the price of a taxi was generally cheaper for a family...

I was told the cheaper rooms were full, and had to pay 80 dollars a night, for a room with towels that looked like floor rags, no hot water, and no air-conditioning unless I was in the room (the key operates the air system), so the outside temperature of 38 degrees was cooler than my room. The spa stinks of...

Stayed twice in the last month in superior rooms. One was markedly better than the other, but both clean and spacious with enough room for additional bed. The staff were extremly friendly and the breakfasts very good. The hotel food was also good value. Whilst there are no frills and the swimming pool is small, it offers excellent value for...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
