Gallina vecchia fa buon brodo. Old building and stuff.
Thai-chinese hospitality. Well organized. Budget accomodation, with solid fundamentals and some treats (flat screen tv, air con, electric kettle, fridge). Nice tough mattress.
Dull breakfast, but gratis.
90 seconds walking from Hua Lampon railway station.
Family of 4 we booked two twin rooms for one night, as we were catching a train the next day. It turned out we only used one room, as the beds were big enough. The rail station is very close, the hotel offers left baggage...More
It is right opposite the Hua Lamphong MRT Station and cross the small parking area and cross the small river with a bridge on it. For Indonesian people, it reminds you of Glodok. It is old building with 2 lifts up to 7th floor. Very...More

Room with big beds and (rather basic) breakfast included. (Clean but bathroom entry carpet needs some cleaning.)

Good location for Chinatown, and travelling by train or metro (short walking distance).

Better known as 'Yaowarat' among locals, Chinatown is Bangkok's bustling district that never sleeps. During the day, the main street and its small alleyways are filled with a vibrant mix of colours, scents and flavours coming from the roadside restaurants and all-day markets. The real action, however, happens after sunset. Surrounded by neon lights, Thais and tourists alike flock here around dinnertime to feast
on some of the best street food in town. Escape the chaos by venturing a little further from the main road and discover hidden shrines, friendly locals and daily life in its purest form.

Yes, with absolute certainty. They do not charge anything at all provided that you book a room for your return / no matter when that is. The backpacker joints will ask 30 to 50 baht per day per piece, and the airport asks 100 per piece per day. I left a bag for 11 months and it was in exactly the same place in the guarded room when I picked it up. I routinely leave luggage here when I move around s. east asian countries and I use this hotel as my central point since Bangkok has a good air asia flight service from Don Muang. I left luggage on six different occasions at no charge in July/August this year. As I have said before on this site, this hotel is outstanding for the price and they have just put brand new aircon units into every room.
