well located hotel near Patpong night market and near train stations too with easy access to other parts of the city. Rooms are clean and spacious. Pool is quite small but nice. Offer of room service or massage in the rooms is nice. Comfortable beds too! My second stay here and would stay again as good value for money and...

When I come to Bangkok, I have been staying at the Silom Serene off and on for 18 years. The hotel continues to offer a good value for their rooms. Our welcome to the hotel was gracious, our room was nicely appointed and quiet....good for sleeping.... and the location is central to many things in Bangkok. This hotel offers a...

We stayed here for two nights in late May 2011. We were met with a nice welcome and cool drink. Nice room, nice breakfast and we can also state the restaurant was good as well. Centrally located in Bangkok, good for train etc. Taxis and tuk tuks were plentiful.

I already stayed in Silom Serene for several times, unfortunately the hotel is getting older. The bathroom has several problems: not enough water in the shower and the rooms looks old and a bit dirty. The hotel room is ok, some are better than the others (we had 3 rooms). The rest of the hotel is good: good breakfast and...

Stayed for 3 nights just before Songkran... just off silom road, walking distance to both chong nossi and sala deng BTS. great location that has lots of restarants and market stalls near by. A quite little soi (street) with lovely atmostphere. The swimming pool is one of the nicest (Serene!) i have come across in BKK hotels! We had a...

It is a nice hotel, located in a convinient place into Silom area. Many restaurants and bars are around this place whereas a night bazzar takes place in the area. The room was very spacious and we have found many amenities inside. Obviously, the hotel tries to offer 5* services and thus the charge of using the internet seemed unexpected...

We have stayed at the SS over the past 5 years and have never had the need consider any other property. Always spotlessly clean, beds are comfortable, friendly staff and management who greet you at the door by name, location is good (across the soi from the bank of BKK) and a 5-10 min walk to BTS. You can either...

Got much more than I had expected. Very quite, in spite of it's location. Quick check-in. Extremely clean rooms. Breakfast had a limited variety, but whatever they offered was really good. Spacious room. Helpful staff. Had a very good experience. Would love to stay there the next time I am in Bangkok.

Have stayed at the Silom Serene hotel on many occasions. The is a small hotel down a side street (soi) in the Silom area of Bangkok. Rooms are spacious and always clean. Great Air Conditioning which helps with a good night sleep. Breakfast buffet is simple, but the food is always good. The hotel is a few minutes walk to...

We had stayed at the Pan Pacific and other 5-star hotels around Thailand for 3 weeks, so the fact that we weren't let down by Silom Serene is a good sign. This hotel cost about $70 and is in a quiet location in an otherwise bustling area. It was convenient for us because our daughter is living across the street...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
