Put up on arrival by Thai Airways when our A380 to Europe went technical, this was an unexpectedly pleasant break. Decent meals, decent rooms in a Novotel-style but convention-focused modern hotel. Location probably convenient but only saw place at night from 22:00 to 06:30.
Situated in a quiet location but within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Friendly staff and a good restaurant. No free WiFi in room or public areas. Rooms are of a high standard and are good value.
I stayed at this hotel over NYE as it was one of the few hotels reasonably priced during this time period. I generally found the hotel to be clean and functional however had two complaints regarding my stay. The first was that the hot water...More
This was the worst hotel I had stayed in my life. I booked through booking.com and they stated that wifi and breakfast were included but when I check in the receptionist told me that the wifi is 300 bath per day which is about USD10...More

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

Apologies for delay Sandy Pony. Hotel is standard restaurant/coffee shop/banqueting and room service mix with a strong emphasis on quality Thai food alongside the dishes you would expect everywhere around the world in a decent business hotel. We arrived as a no notice plane load of mostly Westerners and even at 10:00pm and as veggies we were able to find good and familiar food to keep us happy. Staff are well enough trained and I'm sure would be wiling to cater for pickier customers without stress. If you husband has been to Thailand and tried the hotel it would be interesting to hear what he thought. All the best.
