when in Bangkok i always head for the d and a hotel koasan road----you can go basic room, but these are on the front and can be a little noisy--pay 200bhat more and you get a fridge and a better nights sleep--nice rooftop pool, bar and pool table---you can get great street food and easy tuk tuk at the end...

Just visited d&d inn within khao San road with a couple of friends and had a pretty good time. The hotel is under renovation, so it looks quite underwhelming when you first arrive and step out from the lift, but the rooms were clean and if you request for an interior room (which we did) then there is no problem...

The reason that i decided to staying here was for the rooftop pool. It's super nice to hang out with your friends and you can feel the air of bangkok :) The room was also okay for considering about the price. But I was surprised that they only have one socket in the room, also the wifi is not working...

My overall stay at D&D Inn was pretty good. The only thing that was really annoying is the Internet service it was pretty bad but everywhere you go in Bangkok has free wifi so it wasn't the end of the world for us lol. The room was super clean and spacious. There is a roof top pool that I didn't...

Great location bang on Koh San road. Good price and clean room, me and two of my mates stayed there plenty of space in our room. Yes our view was a building site but we didn't care because you are not there for the view. The pool on the roof was perfect. Staff were polite and helpful.

We stayed here only one night, and after entering the lobby at 19.00 we were really happy about that. First thing we noticed was, a very drunk sleeping 60+ year old white man passed out on the lobby bench. So much for a good start. Currently this hotel is under construction but there is no railing proventing you from dropping...

We stayed here for about a week and it's great! Right on Koh San road so the best location, staff were mostly friendly, pool was decent and loads of friendly travellers! Air con was a blessing, room was comfy (too comfy... We spent way too much time napping!) Overall definitely recommend although it is pricey compared to others!

The hotel is very well situated and easily found with an illuminated sign outside it is down an alley/covered few shops before you get to the entrance. Check in was fine and easy was told what floor I was on and given a key a swimming pool ticket and a breakfast ticket for greens and cheese on a separate review....

The room are modern & clean, daily room service, pool on the roof, friendly staff, security on the door. Sometimes it can be a little noisey from some guests, but overall good quality and reasonable cost, but book in advance!

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
