A beautiful hotel hidden down a little side road in Bangkok. 1 minute walk from Patpong night market and only 20 minutes from the main centre in a taxi or tuk tuk. The hotel was very clean and well decorated. The hotel had a beautiful...More
The location of the hotel was great - turn right down the alley and end up at the Patpong Night market and all the restaurants, turn left and end up at a temple and the subway system.

The main reasons for choosing this hotel:
1. Located at one of Bangkok's main street- Surawong Road. About a 7-minute walk to Sala Daeng BTS station. Easy to find food.
2. Room is basic but well-maintained. Good enough for no-frills travellers.

Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

I have stayed here several times. I enjoyed each stay and I would go back! The pool is by far the best feature of this hotel. The front desk staff are not super friendly but they are nice. Just not overly nice as you come to expect of the Thai people. Rooms are a little dated but they are fine and for the price, a great choice! The wifi is so so and it's horrible that they charge for it but c'est la vie. I sat give this hotel a shot! you can always move if it doesn't suit you... but i think it will!
