We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on our first visit to Bangkok and enjoyed it. The hotel is a bit old but clean and has a nice swimming pool on the roof. The staff was nice with us however could not understand us when we asked for some recommendations. The location is good, close to shopping malls, bars...

My wife and I stayed at The Siam Heritage for 3 nights whilst on our way to Ko Samui. The hotel is conveniently located with access to the rest of the city available by taxi or via Sam Yan MRT station. Overall service was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. As titled the hotel could do with slight renovation...

Clad in dark wood and bulky furniture gives the hotel a rustic old-world feel that's really inviting. We received a lovely Thai welcome and got access to our room at 9am from an early flight. We were more than pleasantly surprised with the room size (superior twin) with generous bathroom. Shower was a little low for me but that would...

I have been staying at this hotel on and off for the past 5 years, also in different room category. This review concerns the executive double. I was given room 310, which the very last room on the far end of the corridor. One side of the window opens to the view of a dirty wall of the next building....

I have stayed here twice and always recommend to my friends and family who visit Bangkok. Once in 2009 and again in 2012. Large comfortable rooms thai style decor which is gorgeous. Close to patpong markets walking distance to many things. Basic breakfast which is included which is fine and a pool which we never used.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
