I have been going to bangkok for many years and the Grand Business Inn was the new version of the Business Inn round the corner, booked online as normal and would not stay anywhere else. The staff have always been more than happy to help and as for ''other'' reviews myself and friends have never had anything but 1st class...

The hotel itself is in a handy location and is quite okay. Unfortunately, the "SUPERVISORS" at the hotel are arrogant old women who could drive you nuts. They have no ethics and definitely do not qualify for the jobs been assigned. I stayed there with a collegue and had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights by email. On arrival and...

The location is good - close to good restaurants, bars, massage placess and SkyTrain. The hotel itself.... Room is remodeled. Look quite alright. But the manager of the hotel (a lady in her 50s) was unbearable. She's like the "mother-in-law from hell"! As nice as other staffs were, I was very put off by her. Also, the sound insolation at...

In April 2007, I made a reservation for 4 days at Grand Business Inn through a reputed online booking agency. Upon arrival around 11 a.m., I was able to check-in immediately. However, I noticed that there was chewing gum stuck to the floor, dirt on the floor, and cigarette burn marks on the carpet. Even though I had requested a...

Manned by friendly & helpful Staff, reasonably priced, comfortable, conveniently located and most importantly, secure. F&B is good too. Yes, reno works were going on when I was there but it didn't bother me. Why stay cooped-up in the hotel when you're on holiday??? I've recommended this place to family & friends and those who've stayed there, all gave the...

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. My room had a terrible smell and construction was going on in the very next room. Constant pounding, I was told it would last from 7 am to 8 pm. Asked to change room, upgraded to a $57.00 suite. Much better room, no smell. But..........was right above a bar. Music...

Good location, the skytrain station (Nana) is just 10 steps away. 2 stops to Chidlom (Big C, Central World Plaza), 3 stops to Siam (Siam Paragon, Siam Square), 4 stops to National Stadium (MBK, change train at Siam but can also alight at Siam and walk to MBK, not too far), 4 stops to Sala Deang/Silom (Patpong night market, change...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
