Great place to stay. Location is good off Sukhumvit road between Soi 20 and 22. Rooms are really clean with DVD players Microwaves and Kettles which we found really convienent. Good shower pressure also which is usually hard to find in Bangkok.

My husband and I used Bally's as a hub for our travels in southeast Asia. We stayed at this hotel six times over three months. The rooms were always clean and the staff excellent. We liked the kitchenette with coffee/tea, good quality wifi in room, flat screen TV and DVD player, in-room safe, balcony, a/c and large rooms. It is...

Disappointed with this hotel, we were put in the old rooms at the front of the hotel immediately opposite another hotel under renovation. The rooms, although they had all the facilities that you would expect, were old and tired and again very dusty because of the building works across the road.

Service is very good. Very nice staff at the reception. The BTS Phrom Phong Station is about 10minutes walk from the hotel. If you want to take the skytrain at phron Phong Station you can go up Soi 22 and cut through the Queens Park Plaza hotel lobby, out the back door and across the Benjasiri Park. It's a pleasent...

We stayed here twice. The first time, we got a really good room. Large with kitchenette. Nice TV, and bathroom. Good restaurant and pool. However, the second time round we were put in a very noisy room, even though it was the same standard (Superior) and they did not receive our booking. Would stay here again but it was far...

Breakfast is not included, there are no non-smoking rooms, and it is closer to Asoke BTS not Phrom Phong. It is at the very end of Soi 20, so it is very quiet--no traffic noise. I slept so well because it was so quiet. The hotel is clean enough and satisfactory. The bed was just pulled up, not made up...

We had two stays recently from 13Jan-18Jan and from 21Jan-24Jan. The first segment was booked in advance, the second while we were there. We arrived very early in the morning and after a pretty expensive taxi ride (ALWAYS use a METERED taxi!), we found the hotel. Our room wasn't ready, and although we had booked a twin, they tried to...

As I live in Thailand, I travel by car to Bangkok about once a month. We always stay in the Sukhumvit Sois 20 to 26 area as we like the restaurants there and though it is not in the middle of the nightlife, or main shopping, it's only a couple of BTS stops away from each. I wrote a very...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
