We stayed at Reflections for one night, having arrived in Bangkok after a long flight. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is VERY quirky and original. The hotel and facilities are excellent and the pool/restaurant area is very colourful, and welcoming. We stayed in the room with a fishtank in it, which was comfortable,...

WE (me and my best friend) stayed in reflections for two days as part of our 3 week stay in Thailand and couldn't of been happier with it, we loved our room, it was perfect for two jet lagged travelers in need of some colourful stimulation, I think the vibrance and ambience of the hotel really added to our whole...

We also stayed in Room 209 which we found wonderful. I think as long as you go expecting a quirky edge to your accomadation then you will be impressed. This is not the spotlessly clean, slickly run hotel that many 4* plus's are but then this is more that just one of those identikit rooms. All the hotels attention to...

We stayed in room 209 which wasn't too OTT, it was nice to have pet fish for 3 nights. They are in a large tank seperating the toilet and the bedroom. Reflections isn't a posh hotel. Pros: nice pool, quirky, close to Ari skytrain stop We got toiletries including a hairbruish and cotton buds Staff were able to get us...

My teenage daughter decided on this hotel on the sight of its photos on the web. But, when you really see it, it is mainly strong impressions made by coarse paint, and paint is still annoyingly smelly. The halls are dusty. The showerhead is broken. The crowding street vendors outside leave the your way to the Sky train waste food...

I chose Reflections Hotel because I wanted something a little bit different for my stay in Bangkok and I loved the idea of choosing my room from the individually styled rooms on the website ! Reflections might not be for everyone ( haters of kitsch take note ) but it is a great place to base yourself whilst in Bangkok....

We stayed in this hotel for the last two nights of our family holiday in Thailand and could not have chosen better! Their website gives an accurate depiction of what to expect, which is totally unlike anyt hotel we have ever experianced before. Very kitch, very quirky, everywhere you look, there is something vibrant and interesting to see. Particularly loved...

We spent three amazing days in Bangkok and The Reflections was just the place to make the stay worthwhile. The service was very good and the location although not in "central" bangkok close to siam square it was just 5 minutes away by skytrain. The nearest skytrainstop Ari was a mere 2 minute walk. And staying away from the tourist...

As the previous reviewer mentioned, Reflections is not for everyone. It's quirky, to say the least. But if you want a small, affordable hotel with personality to serve as your base for exploring Bangkok, then you may enjoy it as much as I did. My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 days in early March. I had informed the hotel...

Me and a group of friends decided on Reflections Rooms after viewing their website and fell in love with their kitschy rooms. We called them up to book our rooms and there were some initial communication problems, so it's good to use your best broken english and they will be able to understand what you're saying and vice versa. The...

Staying in Ari

Neighbourhood Profile
Ari
Home to at least a dozen hip coffee shops, sophisticated boutiques and some seriously fine restaurants, Ari is the newest epicentre of Bangkok cool. Fleeing from the skyrocketing rents in Thonglor and Ekamai, many young urbanites made Ari their new home. This mostly residential neighbourhood outside the city centre isn't much of a trendy area on first sight, but if you scratch the surface of government buildings and noodle shops, you'll find out that there's loads of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Bring a local friend or do your research on beforehand to avoid missing out on all the fun.
