We were surprised at the size of these suites. They apparently were used by embassy staff as apartments and were the biggest rooms we have seen in any hotel. Internet was plug in and fast. The rooms contained a small fridge and a nice kitchen. We were there twice and the carpets on the 5th floor room were a little... More

This is actually an apartment building. The upper floors are lived in. Rooms were clean and huge. Staff was great. Breakfast was adequate.

A bit of an identity crisis here since change in management a couple of years ago - the popular ''Pantip Court'' changed to ''Pantip Suites'' - why? And why the soft pink and blue hues of the interior changed to black? Also, why the previously soft carpeted rooms now cheaply tiled in cold, fake parquet flooring? Someone with the height... More

This hotel was a good value for the money. The lobby is very nice and the staff are all very friendly. The rooms are big, the beds are comfortable and the towels were nice and big. The rooms were dated and smelled a bit musty but overall this hotel provided a great welcome to Thailand.

The good points of these apartments are firstly the size of each apartment is very big, the staff are very good and although the rooms are in need of an update they keep them very clean. The bed is one of the largest I have ever slept in. The location is good for shops places to eat and underground station... More

We stayed at Pantip Court, both first night after arrival and last night before departure, in December 2010. When making the booking, we got the impression that this was a middle class hotel, but it was quite inexpencive and had big rooms. We were wrong about one thing - it wasnt a big room, it was a HUGE apartment -... More

Would not recommend this hotel. The rooms are huge but run down and not well appointed. The breakfast buffet is not great either. It is not particularly well located either unless you are visiting one of the nearby embassies. The pool area is very nice but that is common in Bangkok. Pick another spot!

It was a pleasant surprise to see the huge sized rooms and lounge, dining, kicthen space-good value for money. Situated in a quite street but only 60 bhat away from big shopping mall MBK. great breakfast menu for the price. Homely environment. Seven Elevens (open 24/7) and ATM machines were just withing 50 meters of the accommodation. Only downside was that despite... More

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
