I’m sorry to say but of all the 100s of hotels I have visited, this is one of the worst (booked through hotel dot com). Upon arrival, no one was at the reception counter. About 10 minutes later, 2 persons walked in and I asked if they were the staff. There reply: we had to go eat! The following events...

I'm still at the hotel as I am writing this review. It is my third day here and we've ran into multiple problems with this hotel. 1 more night to go. We booked the studio room for the additional space. There is no balcony and elevator in this hotel. It was my oversight for not checking this before I booked....

Stayed in this hotel for a week. For my first night, i was a bit scared because i imagined the hotel room as one of the scenes in Thai Horror Films. The staff helped me in going around the city, they even told me that its okay to go to Luxx XL and swim the pool. Overall experience was very...

The room was good, clean en enough space. The balcony wasn't all that but I wasn't planning on using it anyway. The reception desk wasn't very friendly. No smile. Asked for a wake up call, didn't get it because they were sleeping in the lobby.

My girlfriend and I flew in to Bangkok for 1 night to transit to Hua Hin and stayed at Luxx Hotel because we were drawn to it by the photos on their website. Unfortunately, the photos were deceiving. The hotel lobby was beautifully decorated and clean. We were pretty impressed initially but when we stepped into our room (no lift...

The room, bed sheets, towels and everything else were perfectly cleaned which is the most important thing. The location is great and the staff was friendly, discreet and helpful enough. Breakfast is served in your room and you have all you need. I don't really get the bad reviews.....for £32 a night with breakfast no one should expected a 5 star...

One positive thing about luxx is that it is located near silom road. However, unfortunately, the negatives did outweighed the positive for our stay. The beddings smelled like sweat and cologne. Event though they changed our pillow cases and sheets, but the smell seems to come from the pillow and bed itself. It was difficult to get a good night...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hidden from many but familiar to the most discerning travelers, this luxury city-centre hideaway is a perfect point for exploring Thailand's capital city. With only 13 rooms and suites, there is no pool, no gym, no bar, what it lacks in size, the exclusive LUXX certainly makes up for with Space, Style, and Privacy. ... more   less
