This is a value based traveller hotel so do not go in expecting luxury. The rooms are large and clean, breakfast is basic but what really stands out is the gym. The hotel has a commercial gym under their roof which guests can use for free. For me that was the standout for the stay. Other than that the place... More

Even if you find that hotel (Ascott) in a list of "pet-friendly-hotels" (i.e. tripadvisor) it is a mistake! We have a small dog and when we travel, we want to be sure that we are allowed to bring our dog with us. So we use to call the place we intend to stay in advance and ask whether the hotel... More

my first stay at the hotel. with the value price I found the hotel better than expected. Room is big with cooking ware, microwave, and even washing machine with detergent. DVD with Sony speaker equipped, very spacious. However the hotel hardware started to show its age. The service is good. But the front desk didn't know what to do when... More

Whenever I visited Bangkok for holiday, I selected this hotel without hesitate for past 5 years. Having one of the best fitness club in the city, renowned spa named Green Leaf in the same building, fantastic swimming pool, well equipped room, quiet location and exceptional services like Khun Patty of guest service manager and Khun Pa in charge of egg... The Ascott chain is an established one and we booked a 2 room executive apartment at this property which sits smack on Sathorn Road as they had a very special offer going on. In the holiday apartment industry the Ascott group perhaps stands as one of the top ones. The 2 room executive apartment was fully and tastely furnished and... More

We have been guest for the past 8 years and have seen bars/restaurants and staff come and go. Personally, some of the best staff, who actually had that personal touch are now gone. I think personally it is the use of Cascade Club gym, although the constant preening and self-image-in-the-mirror stares are a bit much, although the wonderful massages at... More

I have been staying at the Ascott off and on for the past year. On a short visit it is one of the best service residence apartments around, with the Best Gym for working out, better then any other in the city ! Recently I rented an 1 bedroom Premier apt monthly for an agreed lower price of 70,000THB. This... More

This service apartment is conveniently located in the central business district near many big names like RBS BOC PwC Deloitte...and its just 5min walk from the Chong Nonsi skytrain (2 stations away from Siam station). Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
