The property is beautiful. There are plants everywhere. Everything is spotlessly clean. My room on the 4th floor was clean and had good lighting. However, it had neither a bathroom or even a sink for hand washing. To use the restroom or wash hands, I had to walk down a dark hallway to use the communal bathroom/shower. The front desk...

I am surprised to read complaints about breakfast. I always found it to be great. It might depend upon when you show up to eat. I was always there early and there was plenty of food. Lots of fresh fruit (papaya, banana, star fruit, etc), toast, home made soup, the ladies will cook your eggs as you request (omelet, scrambled,...

Booked for a 3 night stay in the barracks but only did 1 night due to the horrible environment it is. All lighting is dimly light even in hotel part which puts a different slant on it which I can understand this type of lighting is ok for the sauna part but not the hotel bit. This just makes to...

I came to Babylon with true excitement and departed vowing never to return. I rarely am so critical of a place, but please pay attention. I booked the transport from the airport, but no one showed up. I took a taxi from the airport and when I arrived at the hotel and asked for an explanation, they said, "We didn't...

I've been staying here now for about five years and I have nothing but positive experiences to report. I don't particularly like the barracks rooms so I always reserve the Bulgari rooms which are much quieter and quite comfortable. The facilities are really nice, the pool is sparkling clean, both of the saunas are nice, the massage team is great,...

Stealing, Drugs, Bad Service. I had my backpack stolen and the camera caught the thief. I have photos of the thief but Babylon did NOTHING but let the thief go. Terrible! Then I talked to two other guests and the similar theft occurred to them by this same thief! Nothing was done to assist them either. We are from three...

Babylon has everything what you need for a pleasent stay in man spa: huge and equipped gym, swimming pool, dry and steam saunas, common area, restaurant and bar. You dont have to stay in the hotel to get to this facilities. Everything is clean and tidy. I will definitely come back.

Stayed here for a night in one of standard barrack rooms. The room was basic and smells like smoke. But that's okay since I will not be staying for a week. Hotel is huge. It has gym, sauna and swimming pool. Price is also reasonable and includes breakfast. Staff are all polite and friendly. Will stay here again.

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
