The breakfast is wonderful if you arrive early because this hotel is located in a red light district I would not recommended for families with young kids great for single man as the hotel does not charge a join fee and its near the action the beds were very comfortable clean tv don't have much English channel

We booked this hotel for a transit night in Bangkok ... a real disaster !! This looks more like a prostitute hotel than a real hotel ... (have a look on the paper on the lift wall !) We were supposed to go back for 3 nights later during our trip but cancelled it and accepted to loose some money...

I should start with a warning: Soi 4 in Sukhumvit is an adult entertainment spot. The hotel itself is well run and the staff are really helpful. I arrived at 7am and was not only able to check in early, but I was upgraded to a suite. The comments on "old" may be referring to the towels - they were...

Dont confused with the picture shown in web as the hotel becomes very old and amenities are really outdated. It has ground floor restaurant where breakfast are served and items remain same everyday. Except 1/2 restaurant employee, all other are very friendly. It situated famous night life area of Soi-4. It takes around 10mins to reach nana BTS by walking....

Went there with a group of friends. Rooms were spacious and pool was nice. However staff were not very helpful. They didn't seem to care about you. Also l wouldn't recommend for a family as the local area at night is full of lady's on the streets! Not child friendly. If you don't mind getting a taxi though then it's...

It is located adjacent to Nana BTS station, it takes you fifteen minutes by walk. Ten minutes to the Nana nightlife area. I would not recommend this hotel for family unless you prefer to take a taxi whenever you go in and out because you would pass through the nightlife area, it is dirty. Especially at night, the bar street...

Stayed two nights with friends. The hotel is pretty dated and its age and general weariness shows everywhere. But surprisingly everything works reasonably well. The showers are hot and high pressure, the breakfast is wholesome, the prices are reasonable. Meant mainly for the tourists looking for action along the NANA strip. The staff are abrupt and to the point. Don't...

Royal Ivory is located a shot away from "the action" so the place is quiet but not obsolete: Just a few hundred metres and you are in the centre of the NANA fun. I was especially impressed by the front desk staff - a very lively, friendly team with charming Khun Apple to lead

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
