Lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Loved the decor and the little shop. Breakfast was great- definitely recommend the roti and sugar milk! Quiet despite central location. Nice communal area with cushions and tables. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Be careful of the Mosquitos, there are a lot as it's by the river and the wooden doors etc...

Friendly, beautifully designed, on a quiet little alleyway in a residential part of town. Away from the bustle of BKK tourist ghetto, but easy enough to get where you want to go. And tons of great street food stalls right around the corner. Can't recommend highly enough.

We stayed at multiple hotels during our stay in Thailand over the past few weeks and this was by far the best hotel. Just a short tuk tuk ride or walk to most places you'll want to visit. The place is adorable, and every detail is so perfectly placed. The rooms were great, air conditioning work great, showers were hot....

Pu and the team had a great welcome and the room was just wonderful with an amazing view over the temple and the Buddha statue. Every question was answered immediately with care, kindness and dedication. Highly recommended.

We have been received very friendly. The rooms were wonderful and for a start in the vacation the right place. With all questions one was very helpful and supports where one was able. The breakfast was freshly prepared at "cooking places" and one had a big choice. Massages and courses passed away like producing of soap were offered. I will...

A haven in peace, but not say it, to keep this place secret. All is butify, and the restaurant is very good The staff is very very very kind, Finally, "to find something negative", in my opinion, is missing a SPA or a small place to swimming and freshen up

Very nice b&b type hotel. Quaint decor through out and nice clean room with a good bed. Breakfast was excellent with European and Asian dishes. Convinently located the the river ferry. Staff were very helpful.

I just spent ten days at the Phranakorn Nornlen hôtel and I'm over the moon! This place is like home... It's a bubble of serenity and kindness... The staff is just adorable, doing all they can to please you. All sorts of little attentions... Can't wait to go back there! Best place in Bangkok!

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
