Phranakorn-Nornlen Hotel is the kind of place where you feel comfortable and at home as soon as you walk in. The hotel is clean, well-cared for, and has the most unique decor I've ever seen. Very welcoming, very artistic and very creative! The vibe is very laid back and welcoming. You'll be shown around and told where to find coffee,...

We found this hotel through tripadvisor. Friendly staff. Rooms were nicely decorated. Very near to Palace and other sightseeing places. Restaurant serves good Thai food though we didn't like the taste of hot chocolate and tea.

This is the perect plkace for families! The decoration where there's always something new to discover, extremely friendly and helpful staff, room to play for the kids and the location in a small backroad make it ideally suited for small children. Always again!

The atmosphere and tone is clearly set by the decor and incredibly helpful staff. This hotel truly has it a priority to make your stay a relaxing experience. This lovely hidden gem of a hotel is probably the best place I have ever stayed. It is quirky but nicely decorated place with a great common area to relax a bit and especially with little kids a perfect place to hang out due to the play area. The rooms are nicely and thematically decorated and relatively spacious. Breakfast is...

We loved every minute of our 3 night stay here! If you're looking for a boutique, casual hotel that actually feels like you're in Thailand rather than a hotel chain style of hotel, look no further. Charming throughout, immaculately clean, beautiful staff, and delicious food, can't recommend this place enough!

We are a family of 5 (2 adults early 30s, 12 y/o boy, 8 y/o and 6 y/o girls). This is a quirky place. It looks great and the staff are very friendly. But it is quite expensive and is definitely a 3 star hotel. The beds are comfy, the room is clean and decorated brilliant. It has a fan...

Very good! If we will stay once again in Bangkok we'll choose PN. The staff was very competent and gave us a lot of good tips. The hotel is in a authentic neighborhood. The temple fair was which took place while our stay was very interesting.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
