This place has a lovely garden, but the fan rooms are very small and sometimes you feel like air is missing. Be ready to leave 500 bath as deposit as you arrive.
Good location, very close to kaosan road.
Nice and helpfull staff.
Very nice place. In a busy area yet so peaceful once you enter the alley. After some 50 meters you arrive in a courtyard where the hotel is. Stayed there for two days with our family. Clean room, friendly staff. We had lunch in the...More
I stayed in Lamphu House many times. It is one of those typical guesthouses in Banglamphu near Khao San road. That means rooms are small and cheap but clean including a small balcony. Stafgf isn't the friendliest in Thailand ( you will not find it...More
I've been staying at Lamphu House for years and it's always good. Cheap, cheerful, clean and quiet option in the Khao San area with a bit of personality and greenery. The food and coffee is actually pretty good too...
We have just arrived from India - so the first thing we noticed was how wonderfully clean everything is! This is two roads over from the Kao Sarn road set off the noisy street and has a quiet courtyard / restaurant and hangout area, with...More
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

There's a 500 baht refundable key deposit.
There's no wifi in the room but there's free wifi downstairs at the 24 hour reception.
It's clean and safe here and really well run. Hope this helps :))
