I used to stay in this hotel when it first opened in 2005. Recently stayed overnight with a friend and found that it is in need of a refurbishment. Cleanliness standards have dropped and the furniture is getting old. Walls are very thin and I can hear what was going on in the room next to mine. For 850baht a...

I have used Bangkok City Suites for many years. This hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the nearest Bts, and a short taxi to Siam. Rooms are basic but clean, and no senic views from your windows. The breakfast is ok, with a choice of mainly thai food, or eggs and toast. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable about...

The breakfast are really good and various which made me totally satisfy. But since it's near the highway, it likes took me hours to walk to the centre of Bangkok. Even the closest convenient store is about 15mins walk. And Wi-Fi is poor, definitely. But highly recommend for people who travel alone and prefer relaxing to exploring!

I used to stay here plenty of times when came to do my business in Bangkok, because of its location and the cheap rate. The service was just so so; I mean the staff did their job but didn't particularly impress me. There's breakfast buffet available in the morning. My hubby enjoyed its variety; to me it was ok. You...

We stayed here thankfully only for 2 nights, as it's not such a great place to spend much time in. The good thing is that they offer a decent room for the money, nothing out of the ordinary but not bad either - just the basic stuff that you need. The not so great thing is the non friendly, non...

Stay at this hotel because of business trip and our client is located beside this hotel. For this kind of price, the service is unsatifying. The receptionist is not friendly, can't speak english well and they already print the script of credit card payment before we came without asking what payment will we use. I came with 2 colleagues, i...

The buffet breakfast is nice unless you are a vegan. The rooms are clean and the wifi is ok. The location is not far from the city center, but you need to walk for 15 minutes to the nearest bus-stop or to find a taxi or to a dining place.

Our room was very comfortable with two beds. Quiet location near a night market and half an hour walk or a short taxi ride from Kao San Road. The room and hotel were clean and I highly recommend this.

I've stayed in far worse places but also better places for the same price. The staff don't smile but I wouldn't say they're unfriendly or unhelpful. They're just very efficient and abrupt - no nastiness. The breakfast isn't great for western palette but that's similar to most of Thailand. Otherwise there's a decent amount of rice and noodles to choose...
