Place is a dump, no internet but they say they have it, no pool but they say they have one, they only speak thai and arab so if your looking for western logic and function this ain't the place. Great place to stay if you avoid showering since it sucks like everything else in this 80's crapper. Def stay here...

Around 10 minutes walk to E2 BTS Phloen Chit station, enjoyable to do shopping and dining at Central Embrassy and Home Pro, minutes walking distance to Central Chitlom (department store). Different kinds of restaurants for choices at Mercury Ville. Spacious and clean room. Although it is a 3-star hotel, it provide recreational and business facilities. On-site facilities include a swimming...

Short 2 night stay, very nice and understanding. We had booked the Sathorn location but we thought it was this. We arrived, explained to the manager we thought it was this etc, they managed to change our location with an extra 1,000 Baht. Not bad for the twin smoking room. Very enjoyable stay, staff seemed very nice and helpful. Rooftop...

Awesome hotel with many eateries and shopping malls within 10 mins walk. It is just 5 mins walk from Sukhumvit MRT station (Exit 1) and link to Asoke BTS. The best way to beat traffic jams in Bangkok is to take BTS & MRT, 5 mins walk from hotel. Free wifi in room is fast too!

Stayed here for 4 nights last month.Got a great deal by booking online on one of the travel portals. Took about 30 minutes from Suvarnbhumi airport by Taxi during off peak hours. Located just behind the Bumrungrad hospital. The Taxi driver did not know this hotel, but knew the hospital which made it easy to reach. The entrance is not...

We come back to this hotel every after 3 to 4 months as it is next to the international Bumrungrad hospital. Very convenient. Clean and nice. Rooms on top floors of left sides from lift have good views. Lots of eateries nearby. MRT is 10 minutes walk. Nearest is Ploenchit MRT. Rooms have basics like toiletries, oven, tea, plates, glasses,...

We stayed in this hotel last week for 2 days and the stay was comfortable. First thing to know is that this hotel is not the hot spot for getting around, people stay here because of the famous hospitals located nearby. But this thing didn't bothered us. Couple of things to be improved- The beds were not so comfortable, the...

We stayed for 5 nights in a deluxe (?) room (one above the standard tier room) and I enjoyed my stay. The location is quite good - a 10 minute walk to the BTS. It's not the most relaxing walk, but what do you expect in central Bangkok! It is directly opposite the Bumrungrad hospital (but no sirens to be...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
