I love old school hotels. It bring you back in time and you get reminiscent of the good old days. But that being said, the hotel needs that whole package in terms of look and feel. It needs that old wooden furniture in its rooms, suitable carpet with earth colours or colours that are close to nature. A couple of...

This is a nice hotel in a quiet location just off the main Sukhumvit road. The rooms are fairly spacious and clean, if a little dated. The staff are very friendly. I highly recommend the restaurant because the food here is great. Overall this hotel offers excellent value for money.

I stayed here with my wife for four nights, left bags travelled out of BKK and came back for two more nights. Liked this hotel very much. Positive: - price - location near public transport (SkyTrain) and many places to eat / drink - quiet (on a side street) - clean (décor is dated and old but that never bothers...

In a good position close to the Asoke/Sukhumvit BTS/MRT intersection this hotel is not big but the essentials are there. The 6th floor has the deluxe rooms which are the biggest for not much more money than the basic. They are a good size with TV, WiFi, shower curtain, tea/coffee making facilities etc. There is no swimming pool, fitness area etc....

When we got there we realised it is a fantastic location for bars, restaurants and shopping. The guesthouse its self is clean and the beds HUGE! However we did have a few visitors of...

We used the Queen Lotus three times during our seven nights in Bangkok and it was an excellent base between our travelling in Thailand and Cambodia. Clean, comfortable rooms with good air conditioning. Excellent breakfasts and good service throughout by young male staff. Nothing was a problem for them. Excellent position close to Metro and Skytrain station which is all...

If you're looking for a basic accommodation right in the center of Bangkok, Queen Lotus Guesthouse is your hotel. The staff is always kind and really helpful. the rooms are basic, but good for a Thailand standard. I should only complain Rooms smell of naphthalene. This guest house is fantastic value for money if you are looking to stay close to the center of Bangkok. The staff are friendly and the rooms have everything you would expect from a good hotel (hairdryer, tv, towels, large bed etc). Great base from which to explore Bangkok

In a good position between Asoke and Phrom Pong BTS stations. The hotel is not very big or have anything in the way of amenities but it is very nice anyway. Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
