it was a nice place, friendly staff. Wifi worked well. Shower looks a little bit old but the water pressure was great and that counts a lot for me. No noise during the night. Prices are good. Aircon works fine. Elevator in building.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and the location is perfect for the main backpacker area of Bangkok! We had a room facing the street so was quite loud until the early hours but a room further back probably wouldn't have this issue. Everything always clean and the staff friendly. Beware the tuk-tuks/taxis that gather at either end...

The rooms and staffs were excellent..good for value hotel. The hotel was located just on rambuttri road, within walking distance of bangkok's most happening place after sunset- khao san road with loads of good eating places , discs & live music playing nearby. Yet the noise and the music never reached inside the hotel rooms & we had a comfortable...

We spent 2 nights in Rambuttri House in a triple room. Rambuttri House is located in a street parallel to Khao san road. The location is excellent, right in the center! Our triple room was at the back, so it was very quiet at night. The room had aircon, TV and a small bathroom. For the price we paid it...

We were looking for a different hotel which my son had stayed at and chanced on this one. Great luck. Clean and comfortable with wonderful friendly staff. The room was very compact but functional. A little bit noisy at night but bearable. The price was good.

We were a group of five guys on a trip to Thailand. We Stayed at Rambutri House for two days. The place is located right in the middle of the most happening Khaosan Road. The room is quiet to sleep at night, but once you step out into the roads, it's an entirely different scene with the bustling tourists, pubs...

Checked in to here for one night, and definatley would return. The room is priced reasonably, staff are friendly and the hotel is clean. Helpfully, there is a lift to the other floors and there are security cameras in the corridors. Our double room (although a little small) was clean, free from bugs and was cosy. The shower room was...

From my blog: http://backpackingwithmishi.wordpress.com/2014/05/03/rambuttri-house-bangkok-thailand/ Location: Location wise, Rambuttri is situated in a very convenient road – Rambuttri, hence the name. There are many bars and restaurants offering different dishes, both traditional Thai and international cuisines. There are also a lot of small eateries at the corner of the road selling popular Thai street food like pad thai and pork bbq....

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
