We stayed here for three nights with a group of friends. It's close enough to Khao San Rd, but nice to be out of the madness. We enjoyed our stay here. The front desk was helpful and accommodating..... they even helped us with an inside joke on our friends as they arrived. We enjoyed the rooftop for after party beers....

I checked in late after a long flight and paid a 1000baht for a twin room. I think i could of haggled a bit but i was tired. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower excellent. The wifi was slow so i switched to 3G. Good coffee in the morning. Staff very polite. The best thing about...

This is a very beautifully decorated small place for backpackers. We checked in at around 2 AM and the staff were still smiling and around. They have a Jacuzzi on the roof top too and an awesome city view.

First off I must say we did not stay here only had a meal at their little restaurant. We were staying at a nearby property for a few days and walked past each day and noticed people eating there on each occasion..We decided to try it one night for dinner and it was only then we found out it was...

I am going to be as honest and as fair as possible in this review and giving it 5 stars does not mean this is a 5 star hotel, the 5 star represents what you are getting for the cost of the room, which for us was £17 per night per double room. We were holidaying in pattaya were in...

I stayed here with a friend on our final night in Bangkok..the location is brilliant..a short walk away from koh San road and not too far to get the ferry to Asiatique. The rooms are basic and beds a little hard but overall a good stay, I would stay here again.

I had higher hopes based on TripAdv ratings. It has several minor problems, like no English/European TV channels, lift only starting on floor 2, and jacuzzi only open for part of the afternoon Great location for Soi Rambuttri/Khao San however.

Room was ok, tiny & seriously in need of some tlc! Food was average. A/c really need some attention, took over an hour to cool down, also the lift starts on the third floor so 3 flights of stairs , not good with heavy luggage, didn't like the fact you have to leave your room key when you leave the...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
