(SUBJECT) Peaceful stay Me, my husband and 3-year old daughter stayed here for one night in the Tuck Building as it was close to the Philippines Embassy. About 8-10 minute taxi ride away. I like the environment of the place and as well as my daughter when she saw the fish pond and birds. The rooms were cozy and the...

As the title states, this hotel is one-of-a-kind in the sprawling city of Bangkok. Located in the city center and just a few minutes from the BTS skytrain, it is convenient to travel wherever your heart desires with ease. However, what makes this place so unique is the natural outlay of the grounds. Covered in lush greenery and pond, you...

I stayed here for a few days on a trip to Bangkok. The rooms were clean, the location was great and the staff spoke very good English which helped when I needed directions to visit the sights. For the price I think this hotel is a great place and I'll be staying again on my next visit.

I cannot begin to explain how much we welcomed and appreciated the tranquility and greenery of HbtP. It is truly an oasis sitting tucked away in the heart of the enormous and bustling Bangkok. The room we stayed in had everything we needed and most enjoyed of course was the aircon that worked fantastically well. The staff were all so...

We stayed 27-31 December in a 2 bed room apartment. Prices are very reasonable, the apartment was centrally located , well equipped and the swimming pool on the roof is really a plus ! Staff was very friendly and help ful ! Only comment would be that there is a very bad smell in the kitchen and bathroom due to...

We stayed here for a few nights in one of the two bedroom suites. The price was right and the location (although hard for any taxi to find) was pretty convenient and much less expensive than the hotels on Sukhumvit. The highlights of this place also include the lovely view from the rooftop and that rooftop pool and garden. Spending...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days as the first part of our month-long vacation to Thailand and Vietnam. The room was very spacious and comfortable and located in an area that was convenient for many services such as street food, massages, convenience stores, ATMs, and other things.

Big, comfortable and good price. I stayed here for about 5 days and felt safe. The apartment was clean and had everything you could need. Good air con and close to shops, taxis and not far from metro. I would stay here again

I lived at House by the Pond when I was teaching in Bangkok. This was a welcome respite for my daughter and I. It was luxurious compared to what we had seen and experienced elsewhere. I stayed in the Old House at the top of the stairs. Having a small apartment, rather than a room was a delight! The cool...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

House by the Pond is a period residence set in lush tropical surroundings full of greenery with a mature garden and a pond. House by the Pond is ideally located in the middle of the Sukhumvit area of central Bangkok within walking distance to the great entertainment and shopping centers and moments away from the Promphong and Asoke sky train BTS stations and the Queen Sirikit Convention Centre MRT underground station. We provide roomy comfortable fully serviced apartments with a kitchen in each apartment, 24 hour security, free Wi-Fi high speed internet, room service, limousine service, self- service laundry, a roof top pool and sun deck with an extensive panoramic view of the city, a gym and a mature garden with an iconic pond which is a place of peace, serenity and tranquility to relax in the heart of the Bangkok metropolis. In addition, House By The Pond has a English Colonial style lounge area for all to enjoy and relax. The atmosphere is best described as being warm, friendly, charming and, above all, homely as all of our buildings are low rise. The architectural style of House By the Pond is truly refine and unique to Bangkok as it is of traditional period style. We have been in the industry for a very long time and pride ourselves in being one of the best valued for money serviced apartments in Thailand as we were one of the first serviced apartments to specialize in the international expat clientele and one which is truly a peaceful international residence. ... more   less
