It's not very near the city centre but they made us really welcome, it was cheap and Chiang Mai is such a lovely place anyway we didn't mind the 15-minute walk into town. Some facilites could have been cleaner but overall it's pretty standard for cheap thai accommodation and the guys working there are really nice (which is usually the...

We stayed in the Chiang Mai International Youth hostel on our trip to Chiang Mai and were really glad we did. The place is a bit away from the center, but the night market is only a 20 minute walk away and you can reach the center easily by tuk tuk for about 100 bath. We did not pay much...

We had the best time of our holidays during the trek with our guide Pote (the best one!!!) . Amazing experience, we spent one night in a tribe and had lot of fun sharing with these generous people. Thank you Peter for organizing it. The hostel is very nice, we feel at home thanks to the nice staff. A bit...

Whilst the owner was pleasant enough, he had no idea about the needs and wants of modern...

A little bit away from the city center but you can be at any place quickly with a taxi/tuk tuk. Not very expensive and the guesthouse owners are really great & nice. They will always help if you need to! Also propose some really great trek: we did a 3-days trek in the mountain.
