Very good location in the Old Town.Very easy access with all heritage and cultural site of Chiangmai. Room very small, bed is hard. Amenities very basic. Basically what you pay is what you get. Staff friendly but not too helpful.

My girlfriend and I needed a cheap hostel for 1 night in Chiang mai, and for the price we paid I think we got a fair deal. The bathroom was a little dirty, but except for that, the staff was really nice, the room was fairly clean, and the location is great.

The location was the only good thing about this guest house and even that was flawed. There was a bar with live music right next door that played late. The bed was rock hard and we had to ask for more blankets as we only received two small ones. We were also only given a quarter roll of toilet paper...

I originally booked a singlee room with fan but the heat of the room was unbearable. I actually moved into the dorm where my friends were staying. However the "air con" advertised was terrible. You couldnt feel it at all and they would onky put it on at 8pm. One day everyone in the dorm was realky suffering and someone...

Its one of the cheaper places and for the price its ok. I think its never booked out if you are looking for a place. There are rooms in the front which are ok but small, and rooms in the back which are larger but terrible - full of moskitos and just old.

The room was OK but not more. As in many guesthouses you get a blanket/ duvet and not a sheet to cover you. A bit surprising in the beginning, but this is quite common in guesthouses. The staf is very kind and helped us in all ways. The guesthouse is very central situated, perfect for a walk in the town.

We had the double bed room with a fan 450 baht per night. The room had ants, the water in the bathroom didn't drain from the floor and was constantly wet, and the window was directly opposite of a restaurant so the room wasn't quiet at all. Stayed the three nights we had booked but changed places after that. Don't...

Lanna Guest House is a pretty decent hostel in Chiang Mai. We take a double bed room with a fan and a private bathroom for 300 BHT; very cheap. The room has got a window which faces the corridor, not the outside and that makes it a bit stuffy but is OK for one night. In the hostel there is...
