As soon as I entered this resort I was greeted with smiling staff and a warm welcome. The resort is beautiful and has a tranquil feeling, lovely sounds of running water and a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms have beautiful big wooden doors, huge fresh clean beds, charming painting on the walls, very modern and clean shower and toilets with good...

A cosy hotel with character. I was getting so tired of international hotels, and this is what a holiday hotel should be. Good relaxed atmosphere, local food. The air conditioning works without being too noisy, its clean, and there are two pools, the smaller one is nicer. The main building has a lift, and the rooms are bigger. There are...

My wife and I are visiting my daughter for 10 days in Chiang Mai and chose this little gem of a hotel because of its close location to her apartment. A lucky find. Good service, friendly and helpful staff who speak english. The rooms are comfortable and clean and with a full buffet breakfast (western and asian) it is very...

I stayed at Rainforest Boutique the first week of January along with 8 of my friends. We booked 5 rooms and enjoyed our stay there. I had lunch at the hotel restaurant on the day of our arrival and was very pleased with the taste and quality of the food. To get to town the tuk tuks were 150 baht...

Personally, I prefer a brighter accommodation. The overall impression I had was dark and dim. Its like dark lobby, dark hallway, dark room, dark bathroom and even a dark breakfast area. Maybe it has to do with the dark wood used everywhere and it is an older hotel. Like what the other reviewers mentioned, the bed was hard. Surprisingly, I...

The hotel is quite old but very rustic. The rooms have an eery atmosphere that I do not like. I also to do not like the Bathtub. The personnel is quite helpful and friendly but seem to be very stressed out sometimes.

The Rainforest Boutique is a charm. They have made the appearance of a Bamboo rainforest in the middle of the city. Rooms are comfortable with a tub as well as shower. Most Chiang Mai hotels have only showers. Restaurant on premises with a plentiful breakfast. Pool is large enough to swim short laps. Only problem is the location. About 1...

The rest of the experience was only ok. The soi is a bit un-impressive but the gate to the hotel is nice and tasteful. The front desk is a bit chaotic, but they have a sweet Lab sleeping behind the counter who comes out to greet you occasionally. The bellman carried my briefcase for me, but left the heavy bag...
