This was our first hotel in Chiang Mai. The location was off the beaten path so it was nice and quiet. The bed was really hard- as we've encountered a lot on our journey through Thailand. The room was clean and the water was hot with good pressure. However, the bathroom had a strange design - the shower didn't have...

This is an incredibly relaxing place - to add to previous "observations" from others the showers are hot the rooms are rustic, service is fantastic with good English spoken and they lovely black Soi dog who shows you to your room AND if you're lucky you get to share your dining experience with a 3 year old!!!! How could you...

We booked here for our last night in Chiang Mai to be closer to the bus station. The hotel entrance and general facilities are good but the overall service was less than impressive. We were told that the plastic bottled waters were free but everything else at a charge and when checking out we were still charged for them, 30B...

Having paid over the odds for an inferior hotel the night before we were pleasantly surprised with our stay. Intended as a cheap and cheerful overnight before flying we were really impressed with the service offered here and the facilities available. With two good pools to choose from a decent restaurant serving a good spread for breakfast. The rooms are...

The hotel is very old with Lanna look, there are 2 swimming pools with a full range of breakfast. It stays in small alley, near to town. Good breakfast, poor wifi, poor TV, fabric for bedding is not clean.

We booked this stay as part of our honeymoon so we're quite disappointed in a few things. Shower didn't work in room when it did it was a trickle. Bed was rock hard mattress. You can hear everyone staying in the corridor that your room is on - walls and doors so thin. I heard all the conversations either neighbour...

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was very relaxing. Tucked away down a side street, it's 100-150 baht in to the centre of town in a tuk tuk. Two pools which are cold but refreshing and both have sunbeds for you to use. Buffet breakfast was good, a wide range of foods. We left at 4am on our...

Hospitality was awesome!! The staff was friendly AND very helpful. Love the room layout, the toilet was amazing - our family of 4 were able to fit in to the Hot tub!! And... food was delicious. It's really worth the money spend.

I have mixed feelings. On the positive side, the scenery is nice, you get 3 free waters a day, and there is a free shuttle that takes you to the night bazaar. The pool and breakfast area are nice and the decor is very zen. What I didn't like was the shower--it was either freezing cold or scolding hot (if...

It was my second visit to Chiang Mai, and I didn't have second thoughts about staying in Rainforest Boutique. I would understand those travelers who preferred the area near the Night Market, but the location of Rainforest Boutique was good enough. It seemed secluded from the neighborhood, and I loved the front view. (It might be me on this one.)...
