We stayed here for 4 nights november 2016. The hotel is old, and is a little tired looking. But the staff is great, really great and it's quiet. Entrance to the old city is close by, you got Tops marked close too. It's very clean rooms containing most of what you need. - The air-con was an issue in the...

I spent a few nights here in 2010 and swore that I'd return if I came back to Chiang Mai. I just spent six nights at Chang Puak now, in 2016, and I'm as enamoured of it as ever. The hotel is situated some distance back from the street, so it's a quiet refuge, leafy and lovely. The staff is...

We stayed at this hotel for 16 nights while visiting relatives in Chiang Mai. Because we were staying so long we wanted the room to be right as I understand that some rooms have been refurbished and others not. The first room we were allocated had nowhere to hang our clothes, we didn't fancy 16 nights living out of suitcases...

A wonderful hotel, with nice people, excellent Thai food, and a pool! Central yet green and quiet. It's officially two stars but rich in amenities: good beds, big tv, hot shower, air con and fans, and super clean. Only one thing: the pillows are like rocks. Tip: ask for the hotel hairdryer if you didn't pick one, and ask the...

We stayed here for 3 nights and extend for another 4 nights. Despite the good price, the front desk were very helpful to my parent and kids in accomodating them for tours while i was away for work. Basic, Old and not busy hotel but i would love to stay here. Public transport easy to get just walk and hail...

I just spent 6 nights at the Chang Puak Hotel. The hotel sits like a little haven in the middle of the city, the pool is a great asset for the odd period of R&R, it is peaceful, cleaned and maintained regularly. The hotel is family run and they are just lovely, so friendly, helpful and efficient. Free wi if...

I stayed there in January 2016 for a few days. This hotel is 10 to 15 minutes walk to the old city. People at the reception are very helpful and happy to advice you. Breakfast is a buffet located just outside the hotel under the trees; very pleasant for your first meal of the day. I would just say that...

We were told about this hotel from friends that stumbled across it a few years ago! We loved it! It's older, quaint, quiet and very well run by a wonderful family! It's like a piece of calm in the middle of a bustling city! And you can't beat the price! Yes the rooms are dated, but spotlessly clean! The pool...

I've stayed at the Changpuak many times, and have travelled extensively throughout Thailand and South East Asia and i love it here. The family who own it are super nice. The pool is one of the best in any hoyel, let alone a mid-priced small hotel; surrounded by trees and really peaceful. It's a 10min walk to the old city,...

Went with my dad, he stays there whenever he's in Chiangmai. It's a nice family-feel hotel with warm friendly staff. The owner of the hotel cooks the breakfasts and her daughter serves the dishes, adding to the family-feel. Facilities wise, abit dated but acceptable. WiFi is strong, air-con is powerful, that's about all that matters to me, facilities wide. Didn't...
