Family stay for 3 nights during the Sonkran New Year festival which the hotel is ideally situated for in the Old City. Very pleasant greeting upon arrival and rooms were ready and very pleasant. Air Con struggling however with the higher temps. There is a small pool area which is very nice with lots of shade but the Chlorine seemed...

Location within the old part of town and old thai house. The building outdoor looks without maintance. Close to the airport 15 minutes. The taxi has a fixed fare THB 160 from airport to hotel. Conveniently located for temples visiting. We book a Superior Double Room They assigned us a very spacious, quiet room with balcony with table and chairs...

The Rim is a very nice place to stay in Chiang Mai. Based on an old Lanna House design (the entrance apparently is part of one). Situated on the edge of the "canal" system which runs right around the old-town, it's convenient both for walking down into the town proper and it's fairly close to the airport. The well maintained...

Very good hotel, central location for temple visits. Food excellent, friendly staff able to help with all our queries. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a problem with the air conditioning when temperatures rose to nearly 40 degrees, the staff dealt with this immediately providing us with an extra fan. Our rooms were cleaned daily, the dining room and...

We didn't spend much of our time in the hotel during our stay, nonetheless the room was clean and has good wifi. The staff was friendly and helpful. They also did a quick sweep before we left and picked up one of our belongings. They have a cheap bike hire service which is great for getting around the city. The...

Nicely located at the old city wall. Unstable WiFi. Good breakfast buffet. We did not test the restaurant as it was always empty. We got upgraded to DeLuxe rooms which are large. Very cheerful staff. No mosquito nets at the door of the balcony which is a pity as the temperature dropped to a nice level during the night.

My wife and I stayed at the Rim Resort for 4 nights and enjoyed the hotel. It was a nice clean facility with a nice staff. This isn't a 5 star resort, but a smaller quaint hotel just inside the old city boundary. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the AC worked well. The room safe did not...

We stayed at the Rim Resort for 3 nights recently. Room, pool and breakfasts were very nice. This is not a full on luxury resort but a stylish place and nice mix of modern with traditional Thai architecture.

After a disappointing hotel in Bangkok, the Rim Resort turned out to be a real hit. The service staff, room, location and food were exceptional. We checked in during the late morning with no hindrances (unlike Bangkok). The room was super and very good value. The pool was great but a little cold for some. The hotel is ideally located...
