Recently visited Chiang Mai with my friend and after very careful selection we picked De Chai. Best decision ever, very friendly staff and romantic atmosphere. Great breakfast selection. Awesome location.

Of course we consulted Tripadvisor before booking this hotel in Chiangmai, and we weren't disappointed. The hotel is not large but it is clean and modern with large rooms. The staff are friendly and nothing was too much trouble. As a first timer to this part of the world having a well appointed hotel to come back to after a...

We really enjoyed this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room we were in was really attractive and nicely decorated. We decided to extend our stay, and the hotel gave us a free upgrade to a nicer room on the 5th floor. How nice! The location was great, we could walk to the old city and...

It was definitely a great hotel to stay in Chiang Mai. I found this on tripadvisor as it was well reviewed. It is walking distance from the great temples and markets. The room was very big with a wonderful bathroom. It was one of the biggest rooms we have had traveling around Asia. The food in the restaurant was also...

Stayed here on the first leg of our honeymoon and found this place to be very nice. It's located on a quiet side street from the main road to the Tha pae gate. Easy to walk out and go exploring. Great location if you want to be closer to the traditional part of town. The staff is excellent, always smiling....

We stayed only one night due to other hotel being fully booked for the rest of our stay. We wished we had booked this hotel first. Varied breakfast buffet, arrival fruit juice, covered pool so glaring sun does not fry swimmers, kind and gentle staff.

The hotel is in a great location down a quiet side street about a 2 minute walk from the entrance into Old Chiang Mai. Everything is within walking distance and there...

Took a flyer on this hotel since we had never been to Chiang Mai. We took a cab from the airport and we heading in to the city. This hotel,is located outside of the "walled" city area but is about a 6 minute walk away from that area. We were getting a bit concerned as to the location since our...

Spent 2 nights here in Jan'17, first time we picked local hotel so didn't expect anything. But De Chai is LOVELY. Room is clean and spacious with big bathtub, highly active staffs who always smile and willing to help out, also they offer nice breakfast buffet with some made-to-order menus. Location is another advantage, 5 mins walk to Thapae road...
