Liked it here, and I would probably go back. The upsides: it was very reasonably price, in an interesting location (not a lot of sit down places to eat, more traditional Thai street food). The buildings at Santitham Guest House are sweet. Wonderful grounds and landscaping. The rooms, and they only had the least expensive when we booked, were stuffy.... More

I felt well supported while I stayed here, fairly close to everything and the red taxi passes right by if you can't get to where you want to go with the free bikes. The staff were very kind and helpful my room was cleaned every day, a shared bathroom but that wasn't any problem. I'll return again.

We stayed in the Honeymoon-Suite for 3 nights. It was clean (and cleaned every day), spacious and quiet. Wifi and aircon worked well. The staff was friendly, you really felt welcome. Even if it was a little away from the city centre I'd go there again. The only thing which in my opinion was missing was fresh juice for breakfast... More

Dear Ones: We are sorry about the lack of fresh juice in the AM free breakfast. I certainly like to have fresh juice for my own breakfast so I understand. We try to accommodate our guest, and had you expressed your strong desire for juice, we could have provided that for you. If you come back to see us again,... More

The Santitham Guest House has a wonderfully relaxed ambience that embraces you the moment you enter its cool leafy courtyard from a sweltering Chiang Mai street. The sound of water cascading, bird song in dappled sunlight gives the immediate feeling you have entered an oasis of calm... Noland and team have been most successful in creating this feeling through the... More

I visit Chiangmai once or twice a year. This was the 4th or 5th time I have stayed at the Santitham Guest House. This trip I stayed for 11 nights and have absolutely no complaints. I stayed in one of the rooms with a private bath away from the road. It was reasonably quiet and shaded throughout the hot April... More

I'm afraid when I wrote this it went to the wrong residence, an economy B2 This is definitely talking about Santitham Guest House and I take the trouble to redo as it's SUCH a nice place..... SGH is an arty sophisticated more-than-guesthouse with very tasteful bedrooms all really nice and several of which could be called luxurious. There are common... More

Thanks to Noland and his amazing staff for 2 glorious weeks at Santitham Guest House. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Nat and his team prepared a lovely breakfast every day, called for transport when we needed, provided laundry services and always friendly and accommodating. Though one might argue that the guesthouse is too far from the center... More

My husband and I stayed here for one week and it was a great base for our trip to Chiang Mai. We appreciated the courteous staff and the cleanliness of the room. We had a shared bathroom with two other rooms upstairs; in retrospect we would probably spend a little extra for a private bathroom next time. The complimentary water... More

I stayed at the Guesthouse for 2 weeks with some friends. This was my first trip to Thailand and I am forever grateful that I was able to experience Santitham. Being a spoiled "westerner" myself, I did not know what to expect but after a few days in Thailand, I was even more grateful that we had western toilets, European... More
