I found the staff (in particular the manager Nat and the owner Nolan) to be very friendly and helpful. We visited during July, so there was a lot of mosquitoes about. When the staff heard about how we'd had difficulty sleeping, they went out and bought a mosquito net for our room so we didn't to worry about being bitten....

Tucked away in the Chang Phuek district is this lovely little gem of a guest house with a garden, small gym area, a restaurant right next door, and wonderful staff. Thai hospitality at it's best. I come to Chiang Mai every year and always stay at Santitham!

I reserved a deluxe room for one person at a cost of 1500 baht per night. I was glad I did! My accommodation was a ground floor villa in the garden. It was off road, affording peace and quiet and a good night's sleep. The spacious bedroom contained a king size bed with good quality mattress and bedding. The bathroom...

The Santitham Guest house is a great place to stay for a short time or for an extended period of time. Its a peaceful place set in the thickets of the trees, outside the busy city life of Chiang Mai, and centrally located for the scenic places around the city as well as outside the city. A day trip to...

Small garden and Thai style buildings are so beautiful I really enjoyed thai foods with good price at the santitham restaurant. I can even do workout at gym in the guest house. The location is quite good to go...

i just returned from a month's stay here. i can't recommend highly enough the many details that enhance the calm, rich life that has been created by noland and berm (sorry, sp?). chirping canaries, jasmine, wafting bamboo; close the gate and the bustle of the busy local life on the street is closed off and quiet ... a spectacular local...

We just spent one fabulous week in Chiang Mai and Santitham Guesthouse. When the taxi brought us to the guesthouse we were pretty surprised about the beautiful green planting of the guesthouse. It is just like a little piece of heaven in Chiang Mai furnished with fountains, little waterfalls and kois swimming around the opened chillout area. We booked the...

Excellent guesthouse just outside of Old town. There are bikes available and this is the best way to explore Old Town. Nat took care of us upon arrival. He made delicious breakfast each day with local products. We had pad tai, oats, rice with pumpkin curry and beautiful fresh fruit each morning. We stayed in deluxe suite which was quite...

With a recommendation from one of Chiang Mai's long-time ex-pats, we should have expected we were in for a treat. But pleasing Mom, well that's a horse of a different color! From the first night, the place just felt comfortable, as the wonderful staff and owner made us feel right at home. Morning coffee and home-made breakfast only added to...
