Firstly the best thing about the hotel is the perfect location, it is in old town where it is full of bars and resteraunts. The reception area is quite nice if a little dated. The staff seem friendly but sometimes language barriers can be a bit of an issue. The rooms are spacious but quite old fashioned with old wooden...

Located on the moat with nearby entertainment and local market. Secure off street car parking. Rooms large and clean but not new. TV, hot water and aircon work well. Fair value at THB1000 a night without breakfast. No street noise at night. Staff friendly.

We booked this hotel based on the official hotel flyer we received at a travel agency. It's quite a disappointment. None of the pictures match the real situation. The nicely designed restaurant doesn't even exist. Instead breakfast was served in an ugly old fashioned room. The staff is correct but you don't really feel a warm welcome. The rooms are...

There is a ghost. We stayed in room 213 and we could hear its voice and laughter. As soon I enter the room, the essence of another being is felt. It's not so bad, kind of a playful spirit, definitely not evil. If you're okay with this feeling of not being alone, go ahead and stay here. ALSO, they have...

We originally booked 3 nights at Wangburapa Hotel in Chiang Mai, but stayed longer for a total of 5 nights as it was so nice. Beautiful spacious rooms, that were serviced daily and we got pool towels at the reception. Pool was refreshing but rather small. Absolutely amazing woman named Lek (I think) at the tour booking table. She was...

We stayed here as part of a family tour group. The rooms were a good size & we had an adjoining room for our two boys which was very handy. The pool is small but quite alright to cool off. Buffet breakfast was just okay, not as much variety as other hotels. The location is good, just a short tuk...

As a former backpacker I do not generally feel too comfortable in more fancy hotels with a reception, a porter and lot of amenities. While saying that I cannot complain about anything in this hotel. Clean hotel, nice staff, a swimming pool (though small), quite good location, good breakfasts. I can recommend it though in my view the hotel somehow...

We arrived super late by train from Bangkok, and were so happy to end up here! They had our key ready for us, so check in was a breeze, gave us a map of the area and helped us get our bearings. The room was big, clean, comfy bed, soft sheets, flat screen tv, well stocked mini fridge, good working...

Arrived here at 8am having had all sorts of flight delays from the UK. We were tired, grouchy and wanted just to crash for a bit. The receptionist took one look at us and told us we could check in early at 10am, got a porter to put our luggage into left luggage and generally looked after us. The receptionists...
